We visited the L'Amphitheatre on a cold cold day. We ordered the 10 euro soup, pie and coffee. The soup was awesome just perfect for today, the pie was a warm pastry and it was yummy yummy. We also had the beef tartare special 12 euro. Quite a standard beef tartare.

Manager kind enough to stay open for us. Simple menu and we had a crepe with ham, mushrooms and cheese and a pasta dish. Just what we needed. A extra circle for,the kindness of the manager on a bad travel day for us.

This restaurant does a lot of steak and chips, but we had a couple of salads which were good value and very good.

This restaurant is located near the Arena. I went there for lunch during my stay in Arles. The service was on point. I had a fish platter and a rosee and it was very satisfying. The view is great for lounging and people watching.

Must say i wasn't expecting a lot from this place. We really wanted to have a quick lunch. Considering how busy was the service was fast and orders taken immediately. Not a big table and not excellent food but is was good and nice value for what we had. If you like something simple and not expensive go for lunch.... More

Terrible! They had a board advertising their special posted outside at 9:30 PM. Once seated we were informed it was for lunch only. I ordered the plate du jour and my husband had the steak. My food consisted of mashed chicken in a sauce that tasted like Campbell's cream of something soup and a side of mushy rigatoni. My husband's... More

Food was good, but just good - price fully acceptable, waiting bit slow, food quite simple. Preffered very heavy plates, that propably made slowish service even slower. Location good.

After we' ve visited the Orange and Chateauneuf-de-Pape we had a lot of experiences. Probably we were tired and we couldn't decide very well. We had hamburger and Italian salad, it wasn't good. Arena view has been confort to us.

It was difficult to find a restaurant in a cloudy december day in Arles. At the end we found Le Grillon nearby the amphiteather. We were a little worried that it were a tourist trap but we gave it a try because we were really hungry. And what a great choice! We ate really well (goat cheese salad to share,... More

We were on a Viking River Cruise and had the opportunity to visit Arles on our own after the organized tour. After shopping and seeing a number of restaurants, we found Le Grillon's menu to be the most appealing and the lunch and service proved to be a great choice. We sat outside on a beautiful fall day overlooking the... More
