I have no doubt that the cuisine of Chef Alexandre Bourdas, whose reputation proceeds him, is exceptional. Sadly, due to his extremely discourteous and inefficient Assistant of Direction, my tour group will never know. In my 25 years in the wine, restaurant and travel industries (sommelier, French wine importer and professional tour guide in Europe), never have I encountered someone... More

** Michelins should provide a memorable dining experience, subtle and even sublime tastes and, of course, highly professional service in a civilised environment. But they are not renowned as places of entertainment. Such is the case with this intimate low-key establishment incongruously placed with the Moules Frites eateries neat the Vieux Bassin in Honfleur. The setting is minimalist with no... More

Fine dining experience in the centre of Honfleur. It is hard to tell the difference between a 1 and a 2 Michelin star restaurant. Compared to all the other Michelin star restaurants I have been to this was quite expensive and unfortunately not as nice as expected. The Lemon Tart version 2015 was nothing special - hope the 2016 version... More

First Impressions Sa Qua Na is located in the stunning French fishing port of Honfleur in Place Hamelin, just off the main harbor area. There is a small dining room but it is modern in design and tastefully decorated and every table has a crisp white tablecloth. The chef Alexandre Bourdas is a master of his trade and he has... More

We had diner early August at Sa-Qua-Na. I am pleased to see that you can reach close to the cooking perfection but still in a simple, pure designed place. Indeed, Sa-Qua-Na is located right in the Honfleur walking street, and offer a rather small dining room. We took the 8 Dished Verte Olive tasting menu. All was good with a... More

I booked a meal at Sa Qua Na from home in Canada on the recommendation of a friend and am certainly glad. This two starred Michelin restaurant was a wonderful experience. Our luncheon of eight courses (the alternative is five courses) was perfectly timed and the food was exquisite. I added the wine pairing option while my wife had a... More

I was taken for my 41st birthday and it delivered the best meal I've ever had. The harbour is the perfect setting. The restaurant is smart, welcoming and elegant. The food is mind blowingly excellent. We enjoyed the longer of the two tasting menus. Delicious fish dishes, very tasty beef dish and three puddings (one a mignardises) - all stunning.... More

We were recommended to eat at Sa Qua Na by two different people, one saying that it was the best food she had eaten in France. We were very pleased we did. We enjoyed a very special meal with our two teenagers. The food was excellent and the service professional and friendly. It was no trouble that our daughter did... More

This restaurant is the primary reason we come to back to Honfleur. This occasion was our 5th visit. We return as we love the style of food, the decor, the service... everything. The restaurant is smart and modern and service is attentive and professional without being at all stuffy. Food is very

Description
SaQuaNa in Honfleur is a starred restaurant in which Delphine and Alexandre Bourdas wished to put what they like, what they learned during their travels and meetings. This place finally expresses their personalities. After long months of renewal, the restaurant opened again in October 2016 in a small building just a step away from the port of Honfleur. Delphine and Alexandre Bourdas wish that the human dimension and the joy of sharing a good meal are at the heart of their restaurant.
