2 hours for croque monsieur is really long, May be the manager has to be changed ... No organization , no authority, no results ... Customer have to be really patient facing incapacity to have things done within the kitchen
We read the reviews before going and decided to take the gamble as our hotel was opposite and we didn’t fancy another walk across the treacherous dual carriageway into town in the heat for a second time that day. Our gamble paid off. Weary from...travelling and a day in town we arrived on the dot of opening and were immediately seated. It was the fastest service I think I’ve ever experienced! No sooner had our drinks arrived but our mains appeared. Both burgers were tasty, not wowing is both, but did the trick. Desserts were the highlight - something with rocky road and something else with pecan nuts lots of cream and ice cream. Whole lot 46 Euro. If you want something quick and easy if you’re tired then this is for you. Staff were very attentive and helpful.More
This restaurant is directly opposite the Ibis in Honfleur. We were warmly greeted and shown to our table. No one rushed us to choose and when we did the food arrived quickly. We chose the cheeseburger from their extensive menu and agreed it was the...best burger we have had. Food is reasonably priced as are the drinks. The staff are very friendly and can speak English (based on two male staff members) if needed. If in the area again we would visit. They do a number of lunchtime formules at very good prices.More
This was right opposite our hotel and we were attracted by the two full sized model horses outside Oncle Scott’s. Food was good, steaks and burgers etc with starters and puddings. Very helpful friendly staff. We went twice on our short stay. Good for adults...of all ages and children too.More
Had a meal and sweet, it was good American themed food, I had Assiette California, it was good, well presented and prepared. My partner was happy too and they do carafes of cider, great.
Really. Just don't. Soulless, in the way that only a TGI Fridays cheap rip off could be. Add in the atrocious quality of food (I have only ever tasted a worse quality burger bun from Bookers cash and carry in the UK) and you just...have to make sure you avoid this place. Staff were joyless and the whole place could only get better if it burnt down. I would happily toast some marshmallows on the fire. But I wouldn't dare eat them. They would taste of cardboard and grease, just like everything else from this disaster.More
If you have ANY notion of the USA, you won't be fooled by the cheap knockoff that this place is. The only American clichés here are the cowboy statue at the entrance, a tiny US flag and an old country CD playing in the background....Otherwise, the staff are rude, they propose kir as apperitif, brioche perdue as dessert, and tables are dressed with wine glasses. That's not to mention that well done meat is black carbonized to them. in short, stay far away!More
Extensive menu? Yes. Helpful friendly staff? No. Food dumped down on the table and server just walks off? Yes. Good quality, tasty food? No. Did I leave most of my food as it was bland, tough and greasy? Yes. Was the waiter bothered? No. Will...I go back? No Would I recommend it? No. No No.More
We went for dinner during our visit to Honfluer. If you have some part of American in you, you must visit this restaurant. On the entrance, they have a cowboy waiting for you and a couple of horse statues, so it is quiet a warm...feel. On a Saturday night, the place was full of people enjoying their meals. The wait time for a table was about 5 minutes, and we were excited to enjoy American food. The staff was very well mannered, and the food was delicious.More
