We ate here for our 5th wedding anniversary so were looking for something special. This restaurant really lived up to our expectations. The food was wonderful and the service spot on.

Well presented and delicious food. Good ambiance even though we were inside and it was summer. The restaurant was popular and seemed to cater for children as well as sophisticated adults. One of the better restaurants in Honfluer.

Our 1st of 3 nights in Honfleur we had dinner at L'Absinthe. The set menu of 32 euros was absolutely delicious, really good value and great service. The passion fruit and mango soufflé was so good that we returned for dinner on our 2nd night too! Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Business diner but all guests around the Table chose a set menu, which was great experience. Dishes are well presented, tasty , mix of traditionnal French cuisine and modern plate presentation. Wine list is large and Sommelier was helpfull to make us decide on the wine selection. Recommend a ST VERAN from Collovray & Terrier.

This restaurant is right on the water, close to a large car park. When we arrived for lunch, it was quite busy (always a good sign). The food was lovely. However, the entire experience was ruined by the waiter who kept us waiting FORTY-FIVE MINUTES for the dessert we ordered. The entire rest of the restaurant emptied out - he... More

Just walked by in the wind and rain and went in on spec. A warm welcome, prompt service from very professional staff. A quality place with food to match at a sensible price for what one was served. I thought the wines were priced at the upper end but that is my only concern. We will certainly visit again and... More

Avoid this place. Very expensive and fails to deliver. Awful crab dish with no meat and terrible. Might be a good spot if you like the regional seafood that tends to be oily. Not my favorite so it might be me.

We dropped by without a reservation. And glad we did. A table overlooking the harbor. Fixed price menu and excellent value. The staff were just plain lovely. 2 of us spent just under €100 for 3 courses and wine. The appetiser of terrine de foie gras was a delight. As was my wife's mango soufflé. And the cheese platter an... More
