It was eight years since we had last been to Le Corsair and we were delighted to find it was as good as we had remembered. The location is nice, the views from the windows are good, the ambience is nice and the food great. We had the good basic three course meal and cannot fault what we ate, which... More

My first visit to Honfleur and this little restaurant was an excellent choice. A warm fire burning in the grate as we entered, family service and character decor. The "Menu €13.90" was my choice with Mussels in cream sauce, then Salmon in sorrel sauce with Creme Caramel as a dessert. Service was good, the food was hot and perfectly cooked.... More

Very busy when we went there so maybe the service was not as fast as it might have otherwise been. Family run establishment with fairly good range of menu - nice place to sit outside. I had the local Tripe De Caen which was not so good (overdone and tasteless) but my wife had Poulet Normand which she said was... More

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and value at this little restaurant. The service was efficient and polite. I would recommend this place for good seafood that will not break the bank.

We were visiting Honfleur and wanted to stop for a simple meal. The restaurants on the waterfront did not seem that attractive, with people constantly walking by. We rather chose Le Corsaire which is on the Place St Catherine. We sat outside, and had a very pleasant meal at a most reasonable price--13,90 for appetizer, entree and desert. Everything was... Great venue a little bit away from the tourist area and much better food than around the harbour. Service is great. Feels like you are in a proper local restaurant and many French dining there rather than just tourists. Highly recommended. Moule Frites are delicious naturally! Had a great bottle of muscadet sur lie too.

This is away from the port and very local.all French people. The fish is excellent and the French drink rose de Provence wine when the sun is out. The deserts are home made and the setting is excellent.

I visited this restaurant with my husband. We chose the 3 course set menu at 15 euros each. The seafood starters were great and I ate a generous serving of salmon in a tasty sauce. We both opted for creme caramel for dessert. A bottle of rosé wine was 19 euros. The food was great, but the atmosphere was really... More

My wife and I had dinner here last night after seeing all the positive reviews on Trip Advisor. We arrived right after they opened at 1900 and with a reservation. I had Moules-Frites and my wife had Monkfish followed by Peach Melba for desert. Service was prompt and the dinner was delicious. Prices were reasonable. The owner was a pleasant... More

This quaint little restaurant is run by three lovely ladies of a certain age, who delighted in giving adults and children alike a little French language tuition as the evening progressed. The cuisine is firmly rooted in traditional French paysan dishes, chicken and duck, slow cooked, with traditional vegetables. Between us we tried chicken, duck, lamb and all were considered... More
