This is an update to my earlier review. As always this restaurant delivers the goods. Honfleur has about 130 restaurants but surprisingly many of them are not that good, given the seafood raw materials that they have at their dooorstep that is a chef’s dream....This one is probably in the top five restaurants in Honfleur - whether I’m travelling alone or with my wife and son, we always come here when we visit Honfleur, on average once or twice a year. I went for the lobster lunch and a half bottle of white wine which was perfect for the hour and a half I head on my flying visit on this occasion. Excellent ingredients, innovative cuisine, a chef that cares and a charming maitre d’ who always looks after you very well. And they have a wine list to die for. Not surprising that they got into the Michelin guide in 2020 as a recommendation. Not cheap but then good food ambience, and care and attention never is.More

Not tasty at all...tourist trap. Pricey but not something we would try again. Try somewhere else....

We were staying at the "maisons de Lea" and on sunny their restaurant is close. I pick this one considering the good reviews and, it's very very good. The place is nice the staff is very friendly and the food is very good, we had...the vegetables to start or the foie gras, both very good, then the sole and the meat. And the strawberry or the apricot for dessert. We rally had a very nice evening. It's not too much in the plates but you won't starve. Really a wonderful place to go.More

If you are undecided where to go, this restaunrant is a safe bet.More

That was really special evening, the last one before we left Normandy. And it was special thanks to the delicious supper in this restaurant. I decided to order „lobster menu”- whole lobster divided in two parts , each grilled but served in different way. Quite...expensive but this is something you should taste if you are visiting Honfleur. My family ordered fish, and dessert and all of it was excelent. And the service was as excellent as dishes. Highly recommend this place.More

Honfleur has literally hundreds of restaurants - many of them touristic and many of them surprisingly not that good. This restaurant bucks that trend and is a fine dining restaurant offering gastronomic standards. Great deals on lobster and wonderful seafood overall. English spoken. The maitre...d’ is a lovely woman, very personable I’m keen to keep her clients happy. A great wine list by the glass too. Highly recommended as one of the best locations in Honfleur.More

We visited here during our stay in Honfleur. We wanted a venue that served good local cuisine and great fish dishes. The restaurant is situated in a pretty square adjacent to the old basin area and port of Honfleur. We were seated in an external,...covered dining space with good views. For starters we had six plump and fresh oysters, plus veal tartare which was fresh and beautifully decorated. For mains we had turbot with mousseline and greens, and sole with roasted vegetables. The turbot was exceptional and the sole great, excepting some areas where there was a little fish scale left on the skin. A minor complaint however. Desserts of roasted nectarines with smooth chocolate mousse were excellent and a good way to end the meal. We had a 2005 Macon Villages to accompany the food from an extensive wine list. The wine was good although not exceptional. Overall, thoroughly recommended, and the staff were really friendly.More

What a wonderful experience. Just a one night stay in Honfleur en route to Brittany and we chose this restaurant after doing some research including Tripadvisor. We had booked in advance, just as well because the restaurant on this lovely Friday evening was very busy....For entree I had the veal tartare, it was tremendous and my wife had the trout confit which was also excellent. The mains continued the excellent experience (both had beef fillet) and we finished off, unusually for us, with a cheese course which was also top class. All in all this was a great meal and the service was very efficient and courteous. They also have an Oyster Bar opposite the restaurant in the hotel and next time we are in Honfleur I know we’ll be visiting there also. Shame our stay was so short! Thanks to the staff for a really enjoyable experience.More

Great Moule, small and sweet muscles, with a nice liquor, it unusually it had very small slices of potatoes, different but not offensive. I followed with whole lobster, the garlic butter was in chilled slices on top, again different the veg pot saw the potatoes...slices again and a stick of asparagus and broccoli. The veg wax over cooked and bland. The lobster wad fine if a little overcooked. Service was fine and efficient. It was good value at €60+ with a glass of wine.More
