Simply one of the best meals I have had in recent months. Delicious started of duck, nut and apple sales; perfectly cooked veal and a light and perfect Ill Flotante. Delicious Calvados to end. Great value at about €28 per person including wine. Simple, unpretentious meal.

Completely knackered and a bit museumed out me and my mate went here for lunch. Very friendly and prompt service, the food was very well cooked and delicious. I had a 'faux-fillet', this is quite common in the region, and whilst it's not as tender as a real fillet, it was beautifully cooked and delicious. My friend had the duck... More

We found the restaurant not far from the cathedral and thought we would give it a try, very friendly welcome and the food was very good and reasonably priced, we would definitely go again.

A good pizza restaurant with nice staff and reasonable prices. The four-cheese pizza seemed to have more cheese than base. Family-friendly and most importantly it was one of the few restaurants that were open on a Sunday night (in October).

Went looking for pizza, but after seeing the menu, I opted for pasta carbonara. My wife craved a cheese omelet. Cider brut and white wine to drink. Meal was wonderful in every way. Carbonara has a 'bacon' that is very French. More like smoky ham. Kept eating long after I was full! All for 24 euro. Hard to beat.

My grandson and I ate there two days running. Table d'hote 3 course meal for eu 15.40 each was excellent value, with a reasonable choice for each course, and tasted great.

We enjoyed the local traditional atmosphere and tasty food. The bolognase pasta and the pizza Normand (Camembert, Apple, mushrooms etc) were great at a good price! A bottle of cold tap water was delivered without ordering. Great compared to so many restaurants who crack open and charge for mineral water at the very mention of water.

Hate to say it, but we landed in Le Florentin because everything else we wanted was booked. (Not sure what was going down on a Wednesday, but dang.) Service was excellent. As previously posted, this is NOT an Italian restaurant, but more of a French restaurant with some Italian options. Kids both had the carbonara -- mine is better, but... More

Located not far from the Cathedral this restaurant had a nice menu not only for adults but children also. The beef ribs were very good as was the pork dinner. Nice but simple wine list. We had the house cider which was very good.
