We were in Bayeux for two days and the first night we wandered around trying to decide where to eat and we stumbled upon this restaurant. It was one of the best meals we had in France. Delicious and lots of good choices.

If the weather is pleasant, sit outside and enjoy the view of the cathedral. We had a lovely lunch, which I can't remember...but we did enjoy it! Good selection of wines.

We had an excellent lunch for our 11-year old birthday boy after seeing the tapestry. We would definitely recommend it.

My extended family of 13 sat on the sidewalk patio for a warm lunch. Two of us were in the sun, which wasn't great, but livable. More to the point, everyone found something good to eat. My 3, 5, and 7 year old kids even...More

Great food and desserts. Atmosphere outside was nice--right on the street. An enjoyable evening. Our waitress didn't speak English but got another waiter to take our order. Very well done. It's in a beautiful, old section of Bayeux. We could see the Cathedral from our...More

The owners Isabelle and Thierry Lhuillery are strongly attached to the region, which displays lot's of famous specialities. Their cooking is both original and typical. The owners know pretty well the local producers, with whom they have been working for many years. When the ingredients are cooked, it is always in the respect of their original flavour, only spices and fresh herbs are added in order to make the best come out of them. Enjoy eating fresh sea food straight from the coast; try our daily raw marinated fish course, or a slice of duck foie gras flavoured with apple fragrances. Don't miss our Normandy beef and duck breast, or our delicate fish dressed with a light cream dressing. Do not also go by, without tasting our local cheeses such as : Camembert, Pont L’Eveque, Livarot or Neufchatel. And finally to put a pleasant end to this perfect meal try a chaudfroid apple dessert... It will be our pleasure to help you choosing in our wine and cider list the most appropriate beverage.
