Save your cravings for an ice-cream when you're in the 'tourist trap' Rocaladour... Because there is much better to find some 4 km outside town : climbing the road to l'Hospitalet , take the first road to the right D36, and drive past the local railway line till a group of houses, named Pech de Bardy. Under the trees, next... More

This place is about 3 km east of l'Hospitalet beside the D36. It is a farm - cows and goats - which serves a wide range of delicious home-made ice cream. You can eat there, take it away (as we did) or buy from the Magasin de Producteurs in Vayrac (150 metres from our door!).

Following a very hot tour around the monkey park at Rocamadour we called in for much needed refreshment - what a surprise! Fantastic ice cream, made on the premises from their own goats and Jersey cows!! Wonderfully welcoming proprietors, a haven for children with space to run around and the attraction of animals to pet. Will certainly be going back... More

What a find! Amazing homemade ice cream from the goat and cows on their farm. They let our kids pet the baby goats! Did I mention the ice cream is delicious. It's charming to sit underneath the umbrellas and shade trees, even lie in the hammock, and let the world go by. This is a gem outside of the tourist... More

Homemade ice cream made from locally source cos milk or their own goat milk (milked daily from their goats). WOW! In over 30 different flavours at last count, my children love visiting for ice cream here, friends family and clients from our local B&B are all in love with Liesbeths ice cream. We are regular visitors, and as I am... More

I'm an ice cream fanatic who knows good ice cream the world over. We regularly visit the Rocamadour area and in 2011 had to taste the 'new' ice cream in town. It was wonderful! Lovingly made by Olivier and Lisbet from the best ingredients, this ice cream has it all, fantastic flavour and gorgeous texture. We sometimes go back more... More

The most amazing flavours of ice cream - I couldn't choose initially, so they let me try a few flavours before we chose. My 3 children had double scoops, my husband had a coupe and I had a single cone. They were all amazing, and the coupe was huge! The seating area is basic, but shady and the drinks were... More

If you are in the area, make sure you stop off at this delicious ice cream "parlour" (it's really an outdoor garden, though open all the year.) They have about forty different flavours of ice cream and sorbets, all made from local ingredients, some even made with goat milk. My current flavours are passionf ruit sorbet, speculoos (vanilla ice cream... More
