So impressed!! Lovely food, wonderful service and the most delicious home made iced tea! We had the lunchtime set menu and it was so different to anything I have ever had in France for lunch. A cold courgette and goat cheese soup to start, with...exceptional bread, and fish with ratatouille for the main. The showstopper was the dessert, a chocolate mousse with a sharp berry coulis. Absolutely excellent food. Our French is poor, but all who served us were patient and so friendly. They made us feel like valued customers. If I were to visit again, I would order the steak, as I saw another customer enjoy this. It was probably the most beautiful piece of meat I have ever seen and he seemed to very much enjoy it. Thank you so much for a lovely meal, it has been a highlight of our holiday.More

We made a reservation for lunch for 11 people, including 6 children aged 2 - 13. The fixed price lunch was delicious. Really enjoyed our savoury waffle with smoked salmon and herb cream, honey soy pork belly, hake and yummy desserts. Every course was outstanding...and we were very impressed - the prix fixe lunch at 16.90€ for 3 courses offers amazing value for money. The menu enfant at 8€ was of a very high standard and all of our children demolished their confit duck leg, sauté potatoes and salad. The service was friendly, welcoming and efficient. The children’s mains came out with our starters, which is always a good option! Highly recommend this restaurant, but book first (can easily do this via a form on their website) even for lunch, as it was packed out with locals, which says a lot.More

Went for dinner with work colleagues, had a great côte de boeuf grilled to perfection with and profiteroles. Fantastic food and at a very reasonable price.

We had the best meat so far in France (Both the Entrecote and the Duck). The Planche Poisson was also very good. But reserve a table, it is popular by the locals.

Exquisite flavours. The chef really knows what they are doing. Each bite was a joy. This will be our new local even though it is a 1 1/2 hour drive. Worth it!

I visited for lunch with local work colleagues. Fantastic French cuisine, a great experience. I had the escargot for entree, andouillette for main (not for the faint hearted but delicious. Vive Le France!) and the chocolate waffle (I forget the name in French) for dessert....Highly recommended.More

Saturday night was very busy - make sure you book first. Food was good and the service was acceptable considering how busy they were.

Good lunch at this cosy bistrot which is on the other side of the Tarn from the vieux centre of Montauban. Escargot ravioli was an interesting twist (I would have enjoyed a few more), the andouilette was full-on (with the helpful waiter asking me,very politely,...if I knew what I'd ordered!), & the baked pear tasty. All at a reasonable price for good-quality scoff.More

My husband and I visited for dinner based on Trip Advisor reviews and were definitely not disappointed. We both had the set menu and were very impressed with each dish. My entree of pea veloute with ravioli was delicious, as was his pate. My main...was a whole fish which was cooked perfectly, with potato and ratatouille - a fantastic dish. His dessert of caramel panna cotta was one of the best he has ever had my cherry pistachio cake with sorbet was delicious, although would have been better with an ice cream/cream. Overall an amazing experience.More
