Ate in this restaurant twice in 1 week and cannot speak highly enough of both the food and the staff. They went out of their way to make both evenings a great experience.

We ventured here after a local recommend the restaurant. We sat outside on a very warm evening. Menu de jour was great and good wine reasonably priced. A walk along the river recommended after dinner. My only complaint is that service was too speedy. We were served our entree soon after receiving our pre dinner drink, which we felt we... More

Great location. Starter of foie gras was very good. However this was followed by an inedible "fillet" steak. To finish, at a higher cost than quoted on the menu, was the smallest piece of cheese I have ever been served.

Nice placet o visit, with a relatively good kitchen and at very moderate prices. We went there twice, not because they were that good, but because they were the only decent restaurant open on Sundays and Mondays in Cahors! Amazing, you would expect that the local restaurants would be able to work out a better schedule. Anyway, we had two... More

We were 6 people together for lunch. Four of us had cassoulet, one had salat and one an omelette. All the food was tasty and good. For desert we had creme brulee, which was rather soft compared to what we are used to. There were quite a few items on the menu that were not available this time. The service... More

We came across this ancient old place whilst wandering around Cahors. It had instant appeal, with its crumbing old facade and lovely shaded terrasse. We arrived just before the lunch serving but were warmly welcomed, shown a table and given a cold local beer on this hot hot day. Our dog was also welcomed and given water. The chef came... More

While walking around the sights of Cahors we fell upon this wonderful restaurant. The menu was superb with a good array of dishes (all locally sourced ingredients). We had the quail, lamb and fish which were all beautifully cooked. The only slight blemish was that the crème brûlée was a tad overcooked. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, service... Beautiful old building by the river. 15€ for lunch with quail and ice cream for dessert. Delicious food, decent service. The other dishes at the table (lamb and fish) were very good too. Very happy!

We dined here one evening during our stay in Cahors. The restaurant is well placed on the edge of the historic town, and offers a range of local dishes and specialities. The ingredients are good-quality and well-cooked and presented; the style is wholesome and unpretentious, and we liked it a lot. Service was friendly and efficient, and the meal was... More

Good sized portions and good quality food are served here. We opted for the 3 course set menu and chose Query salad (excellent), fish (very tasty)and desert. Staff were attentive. A pity that the lovely old building has a poor roadside location, so if you opt to eat outside, the views and atmosphere are not the best in my opinion.

Thank Michael W
