We went to Le Paseo for a late lunch after visiting the amphitheatre, which is just a couple of minutes away. Le Paseo is in a very nice location on a pleasant square. Service was friendly and efficient, a carafe of tap water was placed on our table when we were given the menus. We all chose the 3-course menu,... More

Really good magret de canard! One of the best! We didn't ordered the menu, only the main plates and we were satisfied! Recommended

Have a good time and enjoyed the food sitting outside under the warm March sun. The weather was gorgeous and the food delicious. Took meat with a very tasty sauce. After our lunch it was not necessary to wash our plates because there were all wiped by bread submitted by example of the rest restaurant visitors, the French like to... More

We bought off the set menu (17€ 90) and both really enjoyed our meals. Great value and superb quality food. Service was leisurely, but so was our preferred dining. It is only 50m from the amphitheatre and I very much recommend it.

We were looking for a quick dinner before the concert at the arena. The location is perfect, true. Food is decent but service is another topic. It took close to one hour to have a standard menu after repeated requests for acceleration. The men's restrooms were out of service, for some time I suspect.

When in France we make a point of hunting down the hidden culinary gems that have been recommended.... And boy, this ISN'T ONE! We were tired so sat down here. Incompetent staff that smack your food down, vegetables probably cooked at 8am and left in the steamer till the evening, half the stuff on the menu was sold out and... More

We were delighted to find this place by chance. The tables were set outside but the wind was so cold we went inside. We had an excellent fix price menu for around 14 euros also some local wine for around 11 euros. In fact we went back the next day too.

My husband and I ate here the week between Christmas and New Years. The location is great, the food is amazing, and the prices are unbelievable. A three course dinner for 12.50 euro per person? We kept expecting the bill to be higher, but it wasn't! Our only disappointment was that when we returned the next night, they weren't open... More

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! For only €12.90 each we had an entrée, plat and dessert (with a LOT of choice). Neither of us speak French and the waitresses didn't speak much English but that wasn't a problem as it isn't too difficult to figure out the menu items available to choose from and... More

Have given Le Paseo 5 stars because it is such excellent value. When in Nimes we always visit for their 13 euro 3 course menu - unpretentious tasty food for a good midweek dinner. Decent wine for a decent price too.
