Wonderful galettes and crepes. I had the Provencal galette which had tomatoes, egg, anchovies, olives, and cheese and my friend had the andouille sausage galette and then we shared an apple crepe. We washed everything done with cider (great selection!). Great late lunch and plan to go again.

Delicious selection of crepes. We also had an andouille plate and beurre d'algues starters - good nibbles to get going. We made a reservation two weeks in advance, and good thing! Many people were being turned away, then there was a line down the street when we left. It's on the pricey side for the amount of food, but it... More

Important to book ahead if you can, for there is a constant queue outside - attracted by the delicious and reasonably priced menu. Inside, it is a squeeze. But that adds to the busy, international atmosphere. We love crêpes and galettes, so this was a natural choice - and we were not disappointed. The food was great and the service... More

This little restaurant has two stores next to each other, one is a restaurant with fantastic crepes (both lunch/dinner and desert options) and an adjacent store that sells all natural items to buy such as jams, chocolates, cookies, caramels, etc, many of which they use on their crepes. First, the restaurant was fantastic. The lunch crepes were very good, but... More

We were actually not a very far walk away from this place from the AirBnB that we were staying at. While we went fairly early, the place was still packed, and we were asked if we had a reservation, which we didn't. I wasn't feeling very well anyway, so we decided to just order and take it back to our... More

Booked a lot in advance for a Saturday evening. It is tricky to reserve because you can only call between 9 30 and 11 30. Tried first time to call at 11 and the line was closed. So I called the next day at 9 35 in order to manage to book. The restaurant is situated in a busy area... More

Great ambiance, great food, great service. Small place, popular too. Reserve in advance! I had my favourite food in there, so I know when it's well made or not. This place does it really well. They have lots of products from Brittany, which is not always easy to find in Paris. Would go again.

This cafe was chosen to accommodate our friend with gluten issues and a penchant for cider. We arrived for a late lunch in the pouring rain, and were surprised to see how busy this cafe was! The smell of buckwheat galettes and crepes in the compact kitchen was wonderful. Cider can be ordered by the glass or bottle, and were... More

I took a crêpe with brown sugar and maccha ice cream. It was simply delicious! The crêpes are made with buckwheat, just like soba noodles. You can find the shop right near the restaurant with many food to buy. Breizh café is also present in Tokyo.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
