The food was a disappointment. We ordered green curry beef, duck in basil, mixed vegetable in oyster sauce. One would expect the vegetable to be the easiest to cook and expect a minimum level of deliverable. Yet it was the worst vege dish ever. It reflected poorly on the attitude, it was not the freshest, the bean sprouts were not well... More

We were shopping at BHV and wanted to have lunch nearby. I noticed this place just across the street and went in. We were warmly greeted and shown to a table in the attractive room. There is another dining area upstairs. We ordered a la carte, starting with a shared serving of nems and followed by shrimp with stir fried... More

Stopped in here on a chilly August day after working up an appetite at the Pompidou. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. If you get the individual dishes it ends up being slightly more expensive. They have a lunch menu that has many options and is quite affordable.

I've been here 4 times now. We've had good food and good service. On our last trip, we ate here the evening we arrived in Paris. My niece liked it so much, she asked if we could go back for our last evening in Paris. We did. The waitress recognized us, gave us the same table and even remembered what... More

I found this place when I was just checking out the area. The food was delicious and the service was great. I'm going back to Paris in a few weeks and will definitely come here again.

After living in Thailand and eating local fare for 2 years, I have to say the food is very delicious and authentic! It also comes in very western portions. I've read other reviewers found that the service was rude. I can relate. However, the evening server was very pleasant to us. The night we ate in the restaurant, I left... More

Coming from the UK, we are spoiled by the vast array of cuisine on offer. This was average, at best. Starters were a combination of deep fried, dry and drab (and expensive) and the mains were no better than I would attempt at home. 'Sticky rice' was just that - a 'slab' of rice stuck together. Must be good by... More

Ok. So I came here with my fiancé a couple of weeks ago and we quite enjoyed our dinner. It was also a lot cheaper than our usual Thai haunt so I thought, great. A new place to come to every now and again. Saturday evening my best friend and I were looking for somewhere different to eat after I... More

Food was good, but the service could be better. The waiters were kind of slow and not attentive enough. Long wait for everything...

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
