I was touristing around Montmartre and decided to have a nice dinner in the area, with my wife; so I researched in TripAdvisor and found LE BOUCLARD. The place is really nice, the food is AMAZING, and the staff is super friendly! We were greeted by Jacqueline, and she gave us an amazing service. We ordered the Gratin Crayfish tail,... More

Great place for dinner. We arrived in Paris later than expected & had a very tight schedule as we had tickets to the 11pm Moulin Rouge show; the staff was very friendly in helping to expedite everything to help ensure we made it to the show & the food was amazing. Another bonus? Everyone working there was very friendly and... More

My boyfriend and I went to le Bouclard before a late night Moulin Rouge date and it was excellent! We had snails and swordfish carpaccio to start- absolutely divine (the best snails my boyfriend has ever tried, apparently!) and we both had incredible steaks that were cooked to perfection. We paired this with an excellent carafe of vin rouge and... More

Le Bouclard came recommended by friends who visit every time they are in Paris - our experience exceeded all expectations. This is a family run business with a very individual approach to customers. Jacqueline does a fantastic job in making sure everyone feels welcome and enjoys their experience to the fullest. The food is just wow! We had pan-fried foie... More

The meal was exquisite....the best of all the places we have dined in Paris. So good, the meal nearly brought tears to my eyes.

We could not recommend Le Bouclard enough. On our last night, we decided to do some last minute gift shopping in Montmartre and stumbled across this amazing restaurant in the process. It was our last night in Paris, and we had to leave the next morning, so we arrived earlier than we would have normally (19:15). Though the place was... More

A great little restaurant around the corner from the Moulin Rouge. We booked in advance and when we arrived (6.30 on a Friday evening) we were the only dinners however it soon started to fill up, with locals, which is always a good sign. We had their pre-show dinner menu at 25 euros each: Two courses and a glass of... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
