The wait to go in very long (1 hour). The wait to get your food is also very long (1 hour). The service is rude, slow and unwelcoming. The food is also quite expensive.

A quaint little establishment with a quirky decor. We had wanted to start our day with a nice sumptuous brekkie and coffee with our friends after. My husband ordered a burger set brunch which was ok and I ordered an omelette which was quite average and portions are generous. What turned us off was the rude manager who ticked us... More

Please visit! It's amazing! All the items on the menu will not dissappoint. Victor was out waiter, and he was attentive and honest. We arrived just at opening and can only recommend to do the same, it gets busy quick.

They were packed when I arrived, and their phone was ringing off the hook, but I was still well taken care of. They did mistake my order, for which I've knocked this rating down from a "5," but the man was so embarrassed when I told him that that he insisted on bringing me more espresso, cake--the best dessert I... Seems like a popular, hustle and bustle place. My girlfriend and I went there on Sunday at 1 PM, when they were so packed I could barely open the door. The entry door has a narrow bar on either side where a few people can uncomfortably eat, but the area is crowded by people entering & leaving the restaurant, who... More

I have just gotten back from a meal at coco and co. Our meal consisted of an omelette to start followed by a portion of pancakes and a fruit bowl. Unfortunately we never got a chance to taste the pancakes. An hour and a half after entering the restaurant we were still waiting for them. We decided to cut our... More

We ate here 3 times in the space of a week in May, 2008. The restaurant was written up in the 02/2008 Food and Wine magazine - and it is truly a unique "bistro". Open for only breakfast and lunch, and the main and essential menu item are egg dishes. You have NEVER had an Egg Benedict until you have... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
