Well it made a change from French food. Rustic ambience Good service Low prices Authentic in taste but a lack of style when served; had a rather 'plonked on the plate appearance' Four courses - €45.50 Starter a mix of all €14 - Not recommended Main €18 Wine 0.5l € 8.50 (Greek red, was good) Desert €5 Shame about the... With the decline in tourists walking around Paris there is absolutely no shortage of empty cafes and restaurants all with fairly similar menus and similar prices to choose from. Eating out is no long a cheap option in Paris and I can only assume that this has caused the proliferation of restaurants selling pizza at reasonable prices but you can... More

Found this place on a wet evening. The Greek mixed starters were good. My moussaka was just OK and was served with nice chips and small salad. My partner really liked his lamb chops. They were nicely cooked and full of flavor. Not bad value.

We visited on an evening and chose the 18 euro menu which was a starter and main course plus a glass of wine. We thought it a bit pricey but fancied Greek food so took the plunge. I wish we had left before ordering as the chef was sitting smoking and doing a crossword with nothing to do. The starter... More

Not the best Greek I've had in Paris, but reasonable for the money. I had a moussaka which was okay but the other food we had wasn't particularly good. There isn't a lot of choice, and they have a meal deal, which can include the moussaka. Ouzo is okay but pricey. Came here a year ago when it was far busier... More

The fresh feta in my salad was yummy, as was the lemon dressing. There were no cucumbers, however, and the lettuce was a little wilted. The lamb was quite good. All in all, decent but a little too expensive.

A pleasant greek tavern. Sans prétentions, OK for a light meal, not gastronomy. The mezze is fresh and mostly home made, and waiter tells you if it isn't. Nothing I can see to warrant some of the bad reviews on this site.

HORRIBLE! Me and my friends went to this restautant to have dinner. The people who worked in that restaurant were extremely impolite and kindness. Eventhough, they shouted us several times. The food was cold and not homemade. When we have to pid the bill, we asked for a reclamation, but they said to us thatif we want to reclaim, we... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighbourhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
