nice little place in Marais with friendly bar staff and selection of local and Scottish beers. Had a great atmosphere about it, high ceilings, old windows and doors, good wifi.

Lizard Lounge was lots of fun both during the day and at night. Food, drinks and service was excellent. In general it is a very casual place which I like so jeans and t-shirt was fine. It looked like a lot of locals from the neighborhood hang out here but everyone was welcoming. It has a bit of a punk... More

I love this bar! It's great for a break from Paris while in Paris. It's very laid back and comfortable especially for an American

Perfect place to run into other yanks or brits. Decent food, decent drinks, great location in the Marais not far from Hotel De Ville. and Rue Rivoli.

I recently stayed two weeks in The Marais and not only is this neighborhood steeped in history it is a walking joy!! Getting into the local culture and not being a tourist was what I was out for and I got exactly what I wanted. Tiny streets to meander and drink in the history of the most beautiful city I... More

My wife and I visited this bar many years ago and came back to find it on a night stop in Paris to see if it was still as good. Not disappointed at all, such a cool bar with a great atmosphere. Busy all the time we were there. Very nice cocktails and cheap during happy hours. Good snacks on... More

The lizard lounge offers it all! Free WiFi, fine wine and fine dine. Also the waitresses are cute and kind. But then again I had a bottle of wine already and it is only 4 pm.

Cozy old world atmosphere. Good service. Plenty of house cocktails, beer and wine to satisfy every pallet. Fun place to watch the first game of Euro 2016!

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
