My partner and I ate the best meal of our lives here. Haro's service was great, the atmosphere of the tiny restaurant was perfect, and we drank the most amazing wine. Make sure you go after 7:30 as he doesn't open until then. And please, try the gnocchi!!

We visited Casa Cristo on the recommendation of a friend. We turned up on our first night at 7.15pm as recommended by a previous TA review as we didn't have a reservation. Haro, the owner, invited us in, said he usually started at 7.30 and if we'd be happy to wait a few minutes, we could take a seat, which... More

OK, who goes to an Italian restaurant twice in four nights while visiting Paris? After one visit, you'll want to go again. I found this restaurant browsing the area after planning a shopping day for my wife. We arrived at 8PM and there was one other couple there, who happened to be friends with the owner. We looked over the... More

After spending 2 weeks allover Italy and experiencing Italian cuisine by visiting the highest rated restaurants according to tripadvisor, I can say that Casa Cristo is a hidden gem and a must try. The pizza crust is something different that u get addicted to, the antipasti is superb. Not to mention the pasta and the desserts from the most friendly... More

Casa Cristo, owned by Haro - a one man show, a great chef with great food and very cozy place to visit at.

The first experience you have with Casa Cristo is Haro on the phone who explains that he does not open until 7.30. He does the cooking as well as the service and so things can get busy when the restaurant is full. A small, intimate and very pleasant restaurant with a menu which combines Sicilian and French cuisine. And Haro... More

Highly recommended, excellent Italian food, relatively inexpensive. Surprise find, located in a small lane close to the hotel I was staying in. Will probably go there again.

We came in at 7:20, which of course is absurdly early. Typical for us American provincials. Chef Haro told us that we could sit down, but that he would have to completely ignore us until he was ready. Fair enough. We decided to play it safe and walk around the block a few times. The first page of the --... More

After finding this restaurant online, we decided to give it a try. We like small restaurants and this was exactly that. Perhaps 30 people max. We went on Friday 15th April, and reserved that day. Recommend to reserve as it is small. The menu explains that Chef Haro runs the kitchen but the service also, so you know straight up... More

We knew we had a solid five the moment our burrata arrived. Gorgeous ball of burrata, nestled atop a mound of arugula and garnished with grilled cherry tomatoes still on the vine. We wanted to find something wrong -- we tried to find something wrong. Impossible. (Let me go back to the start -- we read tons of reviews and... More
