This is a small but charming restaurant off Rue Beaumarchais. I had not booked but took a chance and wandered in on a Saturday evening. Luckily it was early and they were able to accommodate me. The staff spoke very good English - thankfully as my O level French was proving to be less than helpful! The service was excellent... More

My partner very much enjoyed her snail starter. We both had ox cheeks for mains and it was excellent. Served in a deep bowl with a spoon to finish off the plentiful and delicious sauce. It was partnered very well by a fi8ne Cotes de Rousillon.

We had our last meal in Paris in this charming small bistro. The waiter (?owner) was attentive to our needs and didn't mind that our French was limited. The food was excellent in terms of flavour, presentation and quality. If one has to leave Paris, this was a good end note.

This place happened to be diagonally across the road from our appt, our home for the week. Due to its unassuming location on a corner of a side street , we were not sure, but after a long day of walking we decided to eat local and we were blessed with an amazing dinner. The venue is small and cozy... More

I booked a table based on the reviews and I wasn't disappointed. Great food, we tried snails for the first time and they were excellent. Staff were also very friendly, attentive and spoke good english. We had a lovely time.

We were staying nearby and strolled in for dinner and were completely impressed. I had the confit beef cheek...sooo tender. My wife had the homemade duck confit and was blown away. I wanted to go on the street and wave people in.

Nice food, relaxed atmosphere - very Parisienne. The gratis dauphinois that goes with the steak could be a dish in itself: very nice, soft and tasty, with lots of garlic. The cafe gourmand is a good idea!

came across this little gem a number of years ago when we were honeymooning in a hotel around the corner and we return on our every visit to paris; a lovely little bistro which serves the perfect steak and good red wine at a reasonable price. aye, simple pleasures are often the best. a word, too, about the staff who...
