Le Cafe Jacquemart -Andre is located adjacent to the museum, overlooking the courtyard. It has a small room decorated with Louis XV consoles and gilded chairs. The walls exhibit huge paintings from the Renaissance, bucolic scenes in soft pastel colors that offer a perfect frame for a relaxed visit. After a visit to the museum we sat at the cafe... More

Visiting the museum Jacquemart-Andre is a treat. However, the cafe brings in an entire new dimension. It is an elegant tea room, housed in the palace's former dining room. Parisians and visitors alike seek out this cafe for a dignified, elegant and refined break. Coffee and tea in a significant variety of styles is combined with delicious pastries catered from... The setting is stunningly beautiful, the service is quite good, and the desserts spectacular! Go for tea and a treat even if you don't visit the museum itself. Very reasonable for the quality and ambiance.

It's a beautiful room worth a special visit. Very popular, so you may have to wait for a table. I come here for lunch, but it's also great for tea or coffee. A must if you go to the museum.

It is a shame that in a most beautiful setting the quality of the food in this place is so poor. Many uninteresting salads, the common mozzarellas, and some good pastries. The place with its pleasant terrace deserves better.

For €29.50 you get a lovely spread and the choice of the most exquisite cakes from the trolley. Everytime I am in Paris, I always spend Sunday here having brunch which keeps me full until dinnertime. The decor is lovely, like eating in the Palace of Versailles. Love it. It used to be frequented purely by Parisians but the tourists... More

Always a pleasure to have lunch in the café of the museum, the dining room just makes you travel in time. Nice salads and a menu with either a quiche or a dish of the day and one of their outstanding cakes, plenty of choice. No booking accepted so go at noon if you wish to make sure there is... More

After visiting the museum we needed a break to absorb all the wonders we had seen. We chanced into the cafe and had a good lunch at a reasonable cost. The place was crowded, but quick service meant that patrons, who wanted to, could eat and leave in about 30 minutes - though we noted others were enjoying their food... More

We have eaten here on a couple of occasions. Get here soon after 12 noon as it quickly fills up. The décor is better than the food which we have found average. On this occasion we had quiches. The portions were large and had a lot of potato in them and generally had little flavour, the salad was average. Service... More

even it's written 'free access' to the cafe, security guy didn't let us in, saying that he doesn't know anything about the cafe and we just need to wait in the queue. it was raining and we were short in time, so it didn't make any sense, but the impression was bad.
