Our group had a variety of dinner and dessert crepes. I had the "Kandy" which was a curry-tasting crepe that had just the right amount of spiciness. Others seemed to enjoy theirs as well. My wife and I split a chocolate and almond dessert crepe which was just the right touch. Slow service; price seemed moderate.

We were only in Paris for three days but enjoyed lunch one day and dinner the next at Creperie Beaubourg. It's a beautiful small restaurant in the Les Halles Area of Paris. The staff are friendly, professional and fun. Monday lunch I had the menu special assisting of a savory crêpe with egg, ham and cheese; A small salad; a... More

Any time we are near the Pompidou Museum we eat here. Menu is easy to navigate and the service is first rate with helpful recommendations. The sweet wheat flour crepes are wonderful. Facing the Place Stravinsky, there many interesting things and people to watch.

This was an unexpected but pleasant find of our Paris trip, we wanted to have a quick meal but not end up in a fast food or tourist trap. The food here is straight forward but good. I've had both the sweet crepes and savory gallette sarasins versions and have to say the that given the location and price I... More

I have only been here once, but it looked like a great place to sit and relax after walking around the Marais. The place is stuck off the beaten path close to the Center Pompidou and has some nice modern art water statues to sit and watch. It turned out to be a pretty good choice. I ordered chicken savory... Buckwheat crepe! Light and savory. I would fly to Paris again just to be able to enjoy a meal at Creperie Beaubourg.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dessert crepes here: Orange and chocolate; and a cherry crepe. Both were delicious and were served quickly as we didn't have much time. Very casual atmosphere, and great crepes.

After visiting the Pompidou Center, we wanted an early dinner of galettes (the savory ones; crepes are the dessert ones). The Creperie Beaubourg is right near the Pompidou. Our waitress seemed irritated by our request to change tables away from her and her friends' smoking. We think it was the end of her shift and she just wanted it to... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighbourhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
