Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went there to eat with a vegan friend The food was very healthy and filling but it doesn't suit everyone's taste but as for myself, I liked it. It is very canteen like, there's self service for the desserts, the drinks and you need...to bring your plates back to the kitchen after your meal. Only bad point was that the place was very cramped, there's a mezzanine with more tables but it gets really hot up there and it is not easy to navigate with your bowl, your glass, and coats all over the floor since there is no place to hang your coat. The prices were ok, the food is served extra fast, it was overall a nice experienceMore

Very friendly helpful assistance given. Clear explanation of food available and serving process. We enjoyed obvious freshness and quality of all ingredients including chicken, mackerel and vegetarian option. Meal represented very good value in a calm, chilled out atmosphere.

We had wanted to try the Tien Hiang Chinese vegetarian restaurant across the street, but we didn't want to wait in the line. So we decided to give Le Bichat a try. The principle is simple: bowls of six or eight different fresh veggies, topped...with tofu or meat or fish. It took us a moment to "get it", but the staff truly went out of their way to help us. Maybe it was because we were probably twice the age of anyone else in the place, and they felt sorry for us! I must say, on the other hand, that while you could tell that everything was really fresh, the dishes were on the whole rather bland. The whole thing needed ramping up, somehow. Drinks and desserts were pretty good. Seating is on high chairs at long tables. Slightly uncomfortable, and certainly not made for lingering. Noise level acceptable, no need to shout. I probably would have given the place 3 "stars" rather than 4, but the staff friendliness was extraordinary.More

We came here after arriving into Paris a few hours earlier as we were looking for somewhere near where we were staying. The veggie bowls were very tasty and very warming, especially in the cold weather. The atmosphere was cosy, we sat on the mezzanine...on cushions to eat which was nice. Would recommend!More

I've been here a few times with friends, always choosing to sit up in the mezzanine with the little cat who runs around. The food is okay ,staff is friendly, but the desserts I've tried are very dry/bland. I come here more for the ambiance...than the food.More

Different salad bowls with rice/quinoa and veggies. Freshly made. Very tasty. Free water from tap. Nicely decorated and room allows for a lot of light to fall through the windows. Reasonably priced. Over all very viby place with a good atmosphere.

We spotted this on trip advisor. After a few days of junk food we were so happy to find a restaurant with healthy, fresh, cheap, wholesome food. We loved It! It was something different and fun, really good value too.

On a rainy evening we stumbled into Le Bichat, attracted by it's busy and warm atmosphere. Inside you need to take a little time to get to know the concept, or ask one of the friendly staff. You order a bowl (rice and cooked vegetables):...or the special of the day or one on the menu. After that, you can ad some extra meat, vegetables, flavors, etc, as you wish. Ad one of the freshly squeezed juices and you have a nice and very healthy dinner/lunch for 10-12€. Sit on the benches on long tables and get to know the other guests. A perfect place to go with children (if they like vegetables) or even for a romantic bite, which you can end with a shared home-made chocolate cake! Honest and warm!More

An excellent place for a snack type meal. A very simple concept and all very healthy, tasty and simple and not far from Place de la Republique. Quite a small place so our Parisian friends told us to avoid 'normal' lunchtimes.

Asked a friend to look for a healthy spot to eat, she came up with this. Great surprise in the Canal neighborhood. The food is a standard "basic bowl" of rice and some vegetables that you customise by adding a protein of you choice or...a selection of vegan legumes. Portions are generous enough for hungry people and they also have a selection of homemade cakes to finish yourself off. Friendly service and the usual hipster decoration inside. Overall a great experience, I'll be returning soon!More

Our airbnb host recommended this restaurant to us as a cheap and healthy local dinner option, and we were very glad she did. Their "bowl" concept is perfect when you just want some clean and healthy food, which our young adult daughters were craving. We...all loved it! The staff were very patient with our basic French skills and it was good value, too. We'll be back.More

good honest food, staff is very friendly and mood quite snob. Price are ok for Paris, not overpriced. It's a pleasant project for this area and a good place to eat often if you are looking for healthy food.

I always like the idea of an organic, healthy and vegetarian menu, that is the reason I visited Le Bichat. Since the choice of menu is limited, I do not doubt that everything is super fresh, but my dish clearly lacked flavor. I took the...bowl with rice and vegan topping, but everything was quite bland and the haricot beans in the veggies were undercooked and hard to eat. A pity, but maybe this was just a 'bad' day in the kitchen.More

Great little spot for a quick bite or to chill out and read. Really friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious and the homemade lemonade might be the best i've tasted. They even serve organic beer on tap!
