This is a great place for celebrating a special occasion. For an anniversary, a family event or a St Valentine's meal it is ideal. The service is professional and the food is excellent. Having said that, it should be - given the price. It is best to go for lunch and admire the view of the park.

I was brought here as a surprise for my birthday and Pavillon Montsouris did not disappoint. I ordered from the tasting menu. The salmon appetizer was divine. It was fresh and melted in my mouth. The sea bass was cooked perfectly and the sorbet was wonderful. You could tell it was freshly made in house. Since it was my birthday... More

The restaurant is within a Park and is conveniently located to the Marriott Rive Gauche so the location is lovely. We held a private party in an upstairs room. The decor was nice with everything clean. The service was excellent. The wine and food were just average for Paris. We had duck which tasted tender but was so difficult to... More

I have been going to the Pavillon Montsouris for 10 years. The best part of the restaurant is their outdoor area which they open when the weather allows it. It opens right on the Parc Montsouris, one of the nicest parks in Paris. The food is consistently decent, the wine list is remarkable although obviously very skewed towards french wines.... More

Excellent repas! We went here twice and would always recommend it. Excellent and creative french food for a fair price in a very pleasant setting.

We had memorable meal at a table bordering a park trail. The staff put up a parasol for us as the sun was a bit intense. We had reserved indoors but a table outdoors was available when we arrived. The meal was excellent and it came from an excellent menu. Service was flawless. Weather permitting, try to reserve an outdoor... More

This is a very good restaurant, with very pleasant ambiance, tasty food, and very good service. We were treated very well and had a beautiful table looking out at the park. The wine list is large and comprehensive. The restaurant looks out at the park and is in a pretty locale. I would definitely eat here again.

Dined with a party of work colleagues in a private room. The food was very good indeed - a good menu and accompanying wines - and the whole experience was very enjoyable. Staff were pleasant and attentive

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
