We booked this restaurant before we came to Paris just to be sure that we had a restaurant on my birthday. The food was excellent and we were surprised it was not more people on that restaurant. The staff was kind and service minded. They did not know that it was my birthday until the end and then they started... More

Came in for a lunch. Greek food. Overpriced beer and wine. Warmed up food. Food more like in a cafe. Looks like a good restaurant from outside.

A very pleasant meal at Les Diamantaires, in smart & stylish surroundings, facing onto Rue La Fayette The Greek theme was very strong throughout the menu, and we enjoyed a number of these dishes, including the grilled lamb chops which were excellent. Plenty of choices, and a relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy the meal. A good place for lunch... More

Came here twice with the family on my stay in Paris during the Euro Cup. Great fresh food and very nice staff. Can't fault it. It is very homely so whilst it may not be Ritz service, I can promise you will leave satisfied. Prices are very good for the quality you receive!

For EUR 15.90 you have two wonderfully prepared dishes in a place with tons of history and good service. Recommended.

We arrived at Les Diamantaires just after 7pm. The restaurant was empty and we were told quite abruptly that they "don't open for another 12 minutes" but could sit down anyway. Then we were asked to move as the table we'd chosen in the empty restaurant was "reserved"! We nearly left at this point point - but i'm very glad... More

My last visit happened in July 2015, formerly, when I ordered Tagliatteli al fitting de mare, I counted six coquilles Saint Jacques, many shrimps, mini - octopus, squid rings and herbs, all preced by foie gras with fig jam.The last time, no coquilles, actually, very little seafood.Recently, I passed by, and only a few clients were present, a cold night... Chose this from hundreds of bistros in the area because of the Greek twist. What a disappointment. Service slow to point of nearly walking out. Not particularly busy for a Saturday lunch time either. Eventually after some prompting the waiter came to the table. No welcome...just stood there. The goats cheese for starters was impressively presented so we thought the... More

This was a walk in for my wife and I, enticed by the incredible looking grilled fish being eaten on their terrace; we had greek salad, dolma and then Lamb Brochettes and Lamb cutlets, which frankly were the most tender, well prepared lamb dishes I have had. A follow up with a traditional Armenian desert and a coffee meant we... More

We were here some months ago having booked a few months stay in a nearby hotel. It was our first night and we wandered out of the hotel looking for somewhere local. The thing is in Paris is choice. Lots of it. This place had a warm glow to it and we were warmly welcomed. As we sat down we... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
