It was a very hot afternoon but we were seated near a window with a breeze so that made the dining experience more pleasant. Seating is close-knit but that can be an advantage as you experience things more communally that way. Though the menu offers...More

I went here solo for a meal and had great food including tomato gazpacho and tuna tartare, both were excellent. I started at the bar but it wasn't really good seating for eating, so when a solo table opened up, they let me move. This...More

This is a very quaint restaurant with friendly staff. I had the risotto with bacon-wrapped scallops, and I highly recommend it. Sister had the escargot, and she like it also.

My husband and I went to Le temps des Cerises on the recommendation of a sommelier we had met in the Loire Valley just before we had come to Paris. She did not recommend it based on their wines, but rather because of the food...More

Well-prepared French dishes (tried escargot for the first time - liked it), a quiet street and neighbourhood (quite an oasis in such a busy city), friendly helpful wait-staff (Leslie was especially nice, even when I ordered a burger), and a serendipitous conversation with a new...More

Join the neighbors (and a few tourists to be sure) in this small restaurant near the Bastille where the food is excellent and traditional, the wine list accommodating, the service very well done. Reservations are probably a good idea!

This is a cozy bistro in the Marais with great food. I had this superb egg dish to start. We had to leave early because my father-in-law was not feeling well. The restaurant was great and packed up all of our dinners, which we were...More

Charming neighborhood bistro, with authentic French feel. Seemed to be roughly half locals and half tourists. Escargot were exceptional. If you're looking for a good bistro off the beaten path, this is a good bet. Seating both indoors and outdoors. But beware, it's very tight...More

We found this restaurant in a little book called Authentic Bistros of Paris. We go back every time we visit the city. The food is wonderful, the atmosphere is "the neighborhood bistro", the people are helpful. It is a terrific dinner spot because it is...More

Yes, I would make a reservation because it is not a large restaurant and the staff does take care in how they do things.
