This is a lovely, traditional, neighbourhood bistro. It is typically French and has beautiful old tiling on the walls. The staff could not have been more friendly or efficient and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner - ceviche, seared tuna, langoustine ravioli and delicious apple tart....More

My wife and I had read some good reviews of this bistro and decided to eat there last night. It is a charming old French bistro - very quaint. We shared a sauteed mushroom appetizer (very good!). My wife ordered the langoustine ravioli, which she...More

Came back to this bistro after many years. Decor is stunning. Service was slow but efficient. Food was good apart for hanger steak who was so so and not warm enough. Thumbs up to manager.

Highly recommend Le Petit Retro! The restaurant is small and super cute, as you would expect from a neighborhood type bistro. There were 3 of us and we went with the pre fixed menu and were not disappointed. There were something for everyone and the...More

We had a fabulous supper at Le Petit Retro. The setting is traditional French bistro, however the staff were young and relaxed (white shirts, bow ties, ripped jeans). There was a great soundtrack playing, funky 60's/70's, but it was not intrusive. Delicious, traditional bistro food...More

We went in without a reservation and from that point we felt like second class citizens. Seemed like they were mostly interested in serving the locals or those with previous reservations. A paying costumer is a paying costumer regardless of status. It seemed like we...More

What a great place for our first evening in Paris! The food, wine, atmosphere and service were top notch! Listening to Claudine Longet while dining on perfectly prepared French cuisine, and sipping delicious wine, one can't ask for anything more! Thank you Gregory and team...More

Old style bistrot, with a lot of charm. Food is decently priced and good. The service was however pathetic. Ignorant and forgetful waitresses, who could not care less. No wonder the place seems a lot less popular than it used to be.

Only in Paris 4 nights, went here twice. Lobster ravioli and chicken were excellent. Good wines, fair prices. Highly recommended.

This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive
Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National
museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill
the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher,
florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury
and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most
famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings
are small art galleries and homes of historical
