Bistro de Vignes,, recommended in Top 10 Paris as the kind of bistro everyone wants to discover, turns out to be a very modern bistro in the village of Passy, not far from the Trocadero, but a long way from tourist land. The half mile...More

This gem off Rue de Passy and few blocks from Muette, Passy, and Ranelagh Metro stops is worth a special trip. Menu is limited, simply prepared, and delicious. We had a caprese, cod, and creme brûlée (sharing appetizer and dessert as part of combination deal)...More

We have been there with friends for dinner. The menu had a variety of dishes. Dinner was well cooked and what we liked a lot was a dish with lamb which was served as the day's meal.

This modern bistro is an absolute gem in the heart of the Passy neighborhood. The food is delicious, healthy, comforting, always fresh and beautifully prepared with seasonal ingredients. The short but well-balanced menu always has something new to try, and even though we had dinner...More

Cozy well kept restaurant off the beaten track. Very friendly and attentive service. Menu changes daily and is presentd on large blackboard. Steak was perfectly cooked and vegetables were happily substituted for fries. Good value. Will return.

None of our french was up to par to read the menu (will correct in the future), but the head server was very helpful. Everything we had was absolutely delicious.

Description
Le Bistrot de Vignes restaurant in the heart of Paris' thriving Passy district has light colour and flavour to recommend it. The classic bistro frontage gives way to a bright and airy dining room where the cheery artwork and crayon-coloured chairs create a convivial ambience. The seasonal, market-led menu is stuffed full of the classics of French bistro dining in dishes like fricassee of mushrooms and escargot in garlic, grilled steak with confit shallots and haricots verts, vanilla creme brulee. The services is tres vite at lunchtime, perfect for the local crowd. There is a huge choice of wines by the glass, so you can match each course properly.
