We found this nice little asian restaurant and it was a good one! Cozy place, nice service and good food (54 euros for two). If in the area, we'll come back again.

Had a family get together and were treated to the best Chinese food we have had anywhere. Friendly attentive service. Difficult to single out a particular dish for praise as everything was perfect!

If you want a break from French cuisine then try this restaurant on Boulevard St Germain. The service is very attentive and the menu is extensive. The food is delicious and there is a great atmosphere. Very relaxing and enjoyable.

Lao Tseu is a family owned and operated Chinese food restaurant. I enjoyed their pot of chicken, the steamed dumplings, ant the Nem. If you like Peking Duck, need to order it 24 hours in advanced.

The best asian food i ever tasted. The spring rolls with the lemon/vinager sauce was wonderful! The service was professional and nice. The place has a nice decor and a good ambiance. I loved it!!! When we go back to Paris we will eat in here again for sure.

My wife and I and two other couples were in Paris in conjunction with a Seine River cruise. Our last night in the city, we dined at Lao Tseu, since it was close to our hotel. We were blown away by the food and service. Their version of spring rolls was excellent....fast fried and served on a lettuce leaf with... More

Yesterdays duck heated up, dried and almost cremated. No veggies. Extra charge for three spoons of rice. The wine was fine, tho. Avoid.

When you first walk in you would think that it is a small restaurant, then you realize that they have an upstairs, downstairs and outside seating. The service is impeccable, and the food is outstanding. Their dumplings are amazing. We wanted to order the Peking Duck (Must order 24hrs before), but there were only the two of us. Maybe next... Elegant, white tablecloth, setting with traditional Asian touches, right in the heart of the "high rent" district. The lunch menus (especially the menu vapour (dim sum)) are reasonably price. The service is warm, attentive and very professional. For the Rive Gauche, a very good choice for Chinese food without the long trek to the "Chinatowns" of Belleville or Place de... More

I have had meals here many times over the last 25 years or so, and I return to it when I am hungry for this kind of food. I love Asian food, and frequently I shop in the 13th (Chinatown) and eat there. But this restaurant is worlds apart from those places. Lao Tse caters to the locals in the... More
