Nestled in the 5th Arrondisement, the Grand Mosque of Paris was built in the 1920s in an attractive Moorish style. The cafe, terrace and courtyard make for a beautiful environment for a refreshing cup of mint tea. On arrival, the waiter brings over a tray...More

I always go there in springtime for mint tea and delicious pastries (chaep too ;) the front courtyard is delightful (if crowded at times) and the architecture very nice.

Well it was a warm day. Arrived in the restaurant around 7:30ish. Ppl. Looked a bit stressed out and unorganised. Foid came fast. I ordered a kebab, what should spend more time on a grill. Also the meat was fatty, not so good quality. So...More

This is a delightful little cafe, quite busy, that sits within the walls of the mosque. Open to anyone, there is an external area, which is a little sun-trap, but there is a lot of demand for those seats. We sat in the inside courtyard...More

You come here for the decor, which is typical Moroccan / Tunisian. The menu features tagines, couscous and pastries; it is OK, but nothing special compared to other restaurants in town. Note that they don't serve any alcohol.

This is such a treat... a well hidden garden with café (and a small shop hidden behind), cheap mint tea and strong coffe and delicius sweets... all in beautiful greenery and with charming tiled tables. The sparrows look after every crumble you drop ;-) Combine...More

Went here to meet with a group of friends. The atmosphere is great, with the lovely weather we sat on the covered terras. The food is very good, especially the meet. The service is for a busy place good, however not very special. A reason...More

The beautiful architecture sets it apart. The restaurant is within the mosque precint. For starters, try their baclava and the hot morrocan mint tea. The tangine and the couscous portion are big. For thoses who are unfamiliar with couscous, you might want to share a...More

This place serves authentic Moroccan food in a beautiful location. Definitely not fine dining, but lots of very happy people there a lot of the time. Tried the lamb, almond, prune and egg tagine and the merguez couscous, neither of which we were able to...More

Hi there, I don't think they do but essentially you have couscous or tagine to choose from. The cakes come on a big copper tray and you can pick what takes your fancy. I would also think that many of the waiters speak... More

I'm just a bit curious as to how things work. Someone mentioned an upstairs restaurant, are there two restaurants? -upstairs and down? Do we need to make reservations? Are there vegetarian options? Are there limitations as to what you can see/access as a non Muslim or is just based on dress code? Thanks!

Nearing A is right. Also though, there are parts of the mosque that you can't go to as a non-Muslim. You can go to the steam baths!
