I came in for an early evening drink and stayed on for supper. It was 19.30 so there was only one other table occupied in this very brightly lit restaurant. There is an extensive menu featuring shellfish and with a special focus on oysters. Having had a good lunch, I opted for just the moules et frites. It was fine... More

Had drinks here twice, then dinner once. Very attentive service, fantastic Normandy and Brittany oysters and interesting mains. I had a dish from the specials board - hake with shrimp, veg and a jus, my husband had the seafood sauerkraut dish. Both delish. We finished with an amazing cheese board.

Oysters are good and have a good variety. Escargots are very good. Main courses a bit disappointing and desserts good but too expensive. On the complex a good restaurant but a bit too expensive (we paid 300€ in 2).

Had the absinthe service which was unique. Nasser was great with us and took time to explain things and make a joke. Mussels are large and good. Nordic plate healthy and good

Traditional French Brasserie, good menu and wine list. Lighting a bit bright for the evening. Seem to be a lot of locals and very polite and efficient staff. Large portions.

We ate here with a group and had a wonderful meal. The server was friendly, helpful, had a great sense of humor, and provided great service. The raviolis and poulette sauce was an excellent appetizer and the beef chuck confited in red wine sauce is a choice entrée. Make sure to have the Williams pear chilled coulis for dessert!

A bit empty (but maybe because of an early Thursday night) still a very nice ambience and fantastic service. The waiter managed to convince me to go for an alternative to the Chablis which was not only half price but also delicious. The oyster selection starter was awesome and included a selection from different areas of France. So was the... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
