Delicious light lunch after visiting the Louve. We had 2 bowls French onion soup which was very good & chicken Caesar salad. The baguette was very good. 2 hot teas & 1 glass of Bordeaux & it was 45 euros. Our server Laurent was very friendly.

I booked this restaurant for New Year's Day because of the positive reviews on Tripadvisor. What a disappointment. I was looking forward to a steak and frites dinner but they were out of steak. They were also out of the chestnut soup that was on the menu. The food we did order took a long time to arrive and was... More

A late lunch was a delight at this old style brasserie. A super oyster menu and the molluscs were equal to it. Nice service and comfortable. I only wish they'd ban mobiles.

when this is you last day in Paris. Where to go? To a Michelin-like restaurant? no We selected La Fregat because it has all the French cuisine items we crave for: oysters (amazing) and escargot. The rest of what we ordered is not important, yet not less tasty.

Found this spot after spending the morning at Musee D'Orsay. Was fine, but expensive for the food quality and service could be generously characterized as brusque. Risotto accompanying Coquilles St. Jacques was reminiscent of Rice-A-Roni and oysters were suspected of causing my son's 24 hour GI upset. Overall, it was fine but wouldn't go out of my way.

Such a lovely restaurant by the river and even better service from a very friendly waiter. Didn't catch his name but we were sitting in the bar snack area and would love to thank him for making our lunch so nice (he asked me for I.d when I ordered ketchup as a joke :)) Food great too. Highly recommend this... More

The restaurant is very well located with a really nice view on the Seine. Staff are also both friendly and professional. Improvement could come from the food. Steak ordered rear arrived well cooked and French fries were less than average.

Make a reservation at La Fregate for lunch after Musee D'Orsay to enjoy a delightful ambiance, excellent service, and delicious classic French cuisine. Next to the Musee and situation along the Seine, the restaurant features sole meuniere, salads, and incredible tarte tatin, tarte de citron, among other desserts.

We would not return here nor would we recommend. Staff were pleasant but we were not provided with the specials menu which included several appetizers and small plates. I had a sole which was good but came with one small potato for 30 Euro. The sole was lukewarm. Our daughter ordered duck but it tasted like beef; we asked two... More

I was really wanting to go to this place based on the reviews I read from Trip Advisor. We got our reservation and when we sat down the menu was a set menu for NYE. Everything we wanted to try wasn't available. I had the Beef Tournadoes with a hazelnut soup and truffle oil. The soup was so bland and... More
