This is one of my all time favorits , mentioned in many books as the place where Hemingway spent his days writing in the 1920ies. And it still looks like it - yes it is of course a tourist place but not as much as...More

We ate very well there. Really good and nicely presented dishes and great wines. In the beginning the service was pretty good, very responsive staff, however by the end of the meal we had to wait a bit longer to get the attention of the...More

So lovely. So perfect. So everything. Yes, please. If what you're looking for is a beautiful classic bar with cocktails that are CORRECT, coupled with a secret garden atmosphere reminiscent of a classic movie, look no further.

The brasserie is the more reasonably priced part, very nice, and the wood paneled bar is also pleasant. The menu may have changed since Hemingway's time, but it is still very good. The set menu is good value.

What can I say ? Not cheap but what would you expect from such a restaurant. A+ ambience, A+ service, A + food. Delightful piano bar experience in the centre of Paris. Visited by many famous people. If you want dining at its finest you...More

You don’t go to La Closerie des Lilas for anything new. There is nothing cutting edge about the place. You go because it remains, as it has always been, a seriously good place to eat. But perhaps more importantly, La Closerie evokes an old Paris,...More

The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the
landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that
goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas,
brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and
parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away
from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and
historical monuments and treasures. In between lie
adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small
