We had diner with our two kids at this tiny little sushi place near Notre Dame. The place is for Sushi hardcore fans but not for honeymooners, business people or familes. The service is rather special (but funny if you're into it) as the woman serving us had her own ideas of what we had to order...The fish was fresh... More

Good, clean, and fresh sushi in a nice location in Paris. Close to Notre Dame and Berthillon. Owners clearly care about the quality of the seafood. Sea snails were excellent. The service can be a bit brusque but never outright rude. Prices are a slightly high but to be expected.

I came here as a neighbour with my Japanese girlfriend who is very picky. It was the best Japanese food ever for me for this price. Everything was perfect. I live in New York no and never had the same experience here at this price. If you think there is not enough to eat, it's because you are looking for... More

We went there last week, the lady who served us was extremely friendly, and really nice. The tuna steak that I had was absolutely amazing, it melted in my mouth. The other dish we had (if I remember it was duck) was also delicious however I would not take it next time. We were seated downstairs where you have a... More

Firstly. We reserved 8:20pm for 4 person, and we arrived at 3:35. The waiter got so annoying!!! He kept reminding us "you are late"!!! Okay, it is not finished! When we order the "plat", the waitress kept forcing us to order "entree". This is first time I met this situation in Paris!!! This service sucks, the food is just normal,... More

We visited this little tiny sushi restaurant last week. The tables are really close, so when you have your meal, you can actually listen to the other's conversartion. The region at which it's situated is really nice and the sushi remarkable. Quite expensive but it worths its money. The sushi is sooo good and the fact that you can see... More

Staying in Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis

Neighbourhood Profile
Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis
Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité, sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island, welcomes you with cozy traditional eateries, small boutiques, and what some people say is the best ice cream in the city. This is essential Paris from its very beginnings to its modern appeal.
