Really good burgers and steak, cooked well to order. Order came quickly as did the drinks, the only downside was that the restaurant itself is a bit cramped and service didn't really come with a smile - good for couples but not for a big family, I imagine.

Chicken for burger and salad OK-ish. Lettuce was dirty in the salad. T-bone 400gr was a disgrace for people who know how about good meet. Overall, too expensive for the quality it is offering.

Been there after visiting "Les Halles". The food is good but a bit pricy and the service is not the fastest one! Overall just an "OK" rating.

...with hubby and with sides of fries and green beans, it was a good meal. A tour guide had told us the the fries here were especially good, but we found them to be just okay. The steak was done just the way we like and was flavorful. The beans were fine. The service was unremarkable and the customer base... More

Have to agree with Joey L. have used this restaurant several times during the last five years, but this will be the last. We arrived at an almost empty restaurant and chose a window table only to moved by an ill mannered waiter because that section was closed. Funny that about five minutes later, other customers (French I might add)... More

Service was bad as waitresses were not welcoming and rude. Despite several attempts to thank them with a smile everytime they serve us, there was neither a smile nor any response from them. It made it sound like our visit was a hassle to them! Food was average given the value, but the poor service made the entire dining experience... More

After a long day of travel, we ate here for dinner. The food was ok, nothing spectacular. My mom did a combo deal of a burger and beer that was a good deal. My daughter got a ice cream treat with the kids meal. The staff struggled with English, even near a touristy area. With all the great places to... More

Stay away. Got the wrong meals, took long time, beef like rubber, a chickenburger dry as sahara, everyting that's possible was wrong. I'll rather eat garbage. Seriously, shot this place down now..

Poor service. My husband and I popped in for a quick lunch during our stay on Paris. We were in a very "touristy" area and figured we could get by on some french words. Upon walking in, we were greeted and seated promptly. We asked for English menus to which we received. My husband ordered a glass of wine and... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighbourhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
