We went to Darroze yesterday with our two children. The restaurant offered nice atmosphere, food and service. The website says there is a menue for kids but neither the price nor its content is specifed there. We can understand that since two dishes - maincourse (duck), dessert (icecream) and one (1) glass of orange jucie - cost 58€. Completly absurd... More

I hardly give comments on restaurant where i go, last and only one I did was to share the wonderful experience I had at Yannick Alleno's Paris. Unfortunately I had the opposite experience yesterday night at Le Salon d'Helene Darroze. We were invited by friends therefore I couldn't provide immediate feedback. While food was good and decor very nice, service... More

The place is comfortable and causal which is rare for a high end restaurante but you feel that time is catching up with it. We were , like many of the clients were on a prepaid formula, which I would judge to be very slim. So all extras cost a lot. All the food we tasted was excellent. Portions were... More

We went here for our 20th Anniversary. While it is pricy, it was worth every penny. We have been to some great restaurants, but this one might be the best of the best. Everything about the evening was flawless. We had a five course meal. The portions were small enough that you could enjoy each one without overload. The start... More

Having lunch at Helene Darroze was an exquisite delightful experience. We went for the lunch formula: 3 starters, 1 main dish and 2 desserts. The first starter was exquisitely delicious: grilles calamari on a bed of black risotto, followed by a foie gras balls than an Italian focaccia with Parma ham, all starters were really unique and delicious. I chose... More

Helene Darroze is a wonderful restaurant to discover when in Paris. The cuisine has that Southwestern France flair, and colorfulness, and the " menu du chef " is a great choice as it demonstrates the full range of Ms Darroze's talent, sampling many of her best creations. The only problem could be, as it happened to us last week, that... More

A U.S. friend had recommended that we go to Helene Darroze for lunch. The colorful, modern setting was fitting for the innovative, tasty food served by knowledgeable staff. We chose a prix fixe menu that provided lots of variety to display the creative chef's ability. Go for lunch, or if you can afford it, dinner!

The service was slow and awkward to the point of being uncomfortable. The staff was not warm or welcoming. The food was not well constructed and, ultimately, very average for the price. The biggest problem was trying to leave the restaurant after finishing our meal. They refused to give us our bill. After 20 minutes of asking, we finally received... More

We looked at going to some of the other Michelin-starred restaurants but needed a Sunday reservation and this was the only one open. We chose the 5 course tasting. Each plate was unbelievably beautiful and somehow the food managed to taste even better than it looked. Every single course was absolutely delicious and the service was also impeccable. We plan...
