The panoramic views of Paris are stunning and it is definitely a place that is a little bit special. Yes, it is expensive - but if you want views of Paris and nice food that's not 'Cafe' style like the majority of restaurants in Paris then this is the place to go. Service was also very good. When I go... More

What amazing place and amazing food. The restaurant is right above the Center Pompidou. The ambiance is nice with both out door and indoor seating. I personally liked the indoor seating. It is a limited menu option but they are very thoughtfully prepared. the foe foie gras was fantastic and so was the tom yam Chili sea Bass. You don't... More

it's definately a beautiful place to be . modern . artistic and vibrant. a multi space that attract many different crowd and of course great views to Paris. Now, in terms of food, just don't go with great exexpectations and you 'll have a good time . take a nice wine and some sharing appetizers and you 'll be just... More

We had a wonderful meal here. Everything was delicious. However the best reason to dine here is the view. We were here on a beautiful clear night and the city looked amazing. We could easily see the Eiffel tower. Ask for a table by the window when making your reservation.

Have previously been to the restaurant both during the day and for dinner but this last time it was just amazing! The atmosphere was very vibrant with nice music. The food was to die for (had the steaks) and the wine we had was superb. The view? Well what can I say? It can't get better. Sipping wine, eating and... More

After reading about the restaurant, I was very excited to see what it had to offer. The place was very bright and had beautiful views over Paris. However, the food options were fairly limited in my opinion, and quite expensive for what they were. I tried the Croque Monsieur which was tasty but felt it was particularly heavy. I was... More

Too much tables, we were really packed and the menu was not ideal for veggies. Decoration and service very decent. After a very surrealistic journey at the musee, the gastronomic experience was a litlle bit disappointing... Shame...

We enjoyed a memorable anniversary Lunch at Le Georges. Fortunately the weather was good and we were seated outside with stunning views over Paris. To start, I had the cress soup which was possibly the most delicious soup I've ever had and my husband had spring rolls also delicious. I followed this with mushroom ravioli and truffle sauce..delectable! My husband... More

Besides the beautiful view and the mediocre food, the evening was appalling. Do not go here!!! Two of our party suffered from life threatening nut allergies. After asking the waiter about the ingredients of the deserts, we were assured the taste au citron would be perfectly fine - after one bite, I re-quried the ingredients with another waiter, and the... Outstanding view. Food ok. Service cold and slower than escargots. Overpriced. Asked to change to a better table for drinks, was told it was not possible even though nobody else used that table until the restaurant closed..

Staying in Les Halles

Neighbourhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
