Chez Paul is typically French, the best food and great staff. Whenever I visit Paris I try to eat here. Top notch!

Yes, they speak some English, just ask for help with the menu. Yes, it's very old which give it character. Yes, in the winter in Paris, it's cold. If you traveled around at all in Paris during the winter, some places are cold, wear a jacket. Yes, the food is awesome. Leave your attitude and self-loathing at home and you'll... More

OK, wake up guys. This place has been around without tourists for decades, thank you very much. If you're going to visit as a tourist, adjust your attitude beforehand, as once you understand that you are basically an underclass of guest things go much smoother. Here's our guide to making it the best experience possible, based on our experience. First,... More

We had just arrived the day before to Europe and wanted a light lunch so we chose our favorite bistro in Paris-Chez Paul. Unfortunately, we missed Valerie again, but we'll have to go one evening on our next trip and hope to see her? We weren't too hungry so we each just had a bowl of onion soup. Their portions... More
