Had dinner at this iconic Cafe with a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower. The waiters were smart and enchanting. Best time to go there is at night when the view is captivating.

The waiter gave a lecture on how to call him. He also blamed us for a knife he dropped on our table, asking us why would a knife be on a bread basket. He asked us to respect him but he hardly respected us. Worst service, ever.

We ate there for my birthday. Our table was inside by the window, so during all the meal time we could see the Eiffel Tower illuminated and sparkling. Amazing. We had devilled eggs as a starter. They were maybe a little to salty for my likening. As a main I had the "magret de canard" and my partner had the... More

A very busy cafe at all time! The cafe is located behind the Trocadero with a great view of the tower. We went there for our lunch and spent nearly 2 hrs just enjoying the food and absorbing the ambiance. The waiters were very friendly and helpful, they took their time to arrange the tables for us as we have... More

This is quite a touristy spot, but the prices are not insane, and you can see the Eiffel while you eat! Catherine and I both had a Croque Monsieur and salad. I tried a Kir Royale which is what I had 12 years ago on the same intersection. Angus had the salmon club sandwich which was a bit of a... More

The cafe and restaurant is loaced behind the Trocadero. The place is nice. The menu is OK but the prices are way too high. The waiter was impolite and only got friendly when I got unfriendly with him.

I honestly don't know why there are some bad reviews for this place because our experience was fantastic. We managed to get a table outside as the sun was shining which was strange for November. Wife had lamb chops and a carafe of house red, I had a steak and a bottle of Sauvignon blanc. We didn't want to leave... More

On the menu: entrecôte de Salers, one of the most delicious meat except that the piece they served was not good at all, it was at best disgusting. We couldn't eat it and left most of the supposedly entrecôte on the plate, our waiter didn't ask if it was alright, of course he didn't have too what was left on our... Trocadero looks like it came out of a movie. Like where they film people in France sipping tea or coffee. And it overlooks the Eiffel Tower which makes it an even more relaxing way to really soak in the sight. The food and tea from the cafe are also excellent aside from fantastic ambiance.

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
