My husband and I found this cosy little restaurant on trip advisor. The food and atmosphere was lovely. Proper French food. Yummy!

Found this restaurant via tripadvisor. I've beento Montmartre multiple times, but I would not have found it myself otherwise. The place is not too big and the menu neither. But the food is very good, as well as the wine they serve. Cannot think anything...More

To keep it short and sweet...ABSOLUTELY. UNBELIEVEABLE. Onglet de boeuf: Simply the best meal I’ve ever had. I didn’t want it to end. The fois gras sauce was packed full of flavours and the beef couldn’t possibly have been cooked better. The waiter was first...More

First time in Paris, first evening meal and we were sooooooo not disappointed! We had checked Trip Advisor for local restaurants and can't deny we were influenced by the high rating and previous visitor comments, all well deserved. We were seated without a reservation but...More

Really authentic bistro. Great food, lovely staff and relaxed atmosphere. Booked in advance which was wise. Had foie gras and the starter for undecided, which was a number of smaller portions. The starters were really good but the mushroom and chestnut soup was outstanding. We...More

We chose this for our anniversary dinner, the reason we were in Paris. Warm welcome, great rose, the charming waiter explained the black board menu and we couldn't chose so had the sampler with terrine, salmon with a stunning little salad and the best of...More

Probably the best meal of my life. The service was above and beyond hospitable. The staff was so friendly and accommodating even though we spoke no French. The food was fresh and so full of flavor and texture. It was divine. I wish we were...More

Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and
styles which changes from one street to another. Ride
the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the
steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the
Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The
church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano
bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers
thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy

You have to climb the famous Rue Lepic to find La Boite aux Lettres. A charming bistro which offers refined appetizing dishes with seasonal products. For the undecided ones, the set menu << Pour les Indecis" allows to sample several dishes on one plate. Fortunately, the concept is declined in all its forms: entrance, dessert, and even a cocktail menu. The Mailbox, a gourmet address in a bucolic setting!
