We just wanted a quick bite so we had oysters and then snails - a bit odd but we wanted to try some snails specialties we had never tasted before. Interesting and unusual but really good. The place is worth seeing just for the Art...More

It was my first time in my life to eat a snail. It was not that difficult, actually. Good atmosphere, great staff. All dishes were good. A little bit slow service but overall is okay.

This place has the best and most authentic French food - I'm in love with escargots and this is the place to be - along with frog legs, bone marrow and fois gras , I'm salivating just thinking of these dishes. Also ambiance is perfect,...More

Very average food with relatively high price. Escargots are alright but won’t recommend any other dishes. The waitress showed horrible taste of wine today.

The restaurant is very historical and serves delicious traditional French food. I enjoyed the snails, frog legs and entrecote beek steak. It's a very busy place and if you come during peak hours, you need to wait for a table inside.

Speciality are snails, but also typical French dishes. The place is authentic, the food, especially the different variations of snails (garlic, curry, truffle, foie gras, etc.), are excellent. Only caveat is the size of the portions, which I find too small.

We had to try the traditional snails. Done in garlic and butter they were plump and tasty. But the winners were the beef stew, onion soup, artichoke soup, cheese platter, desserts and a bottle of Sancerre. Family of four about $150 euros. Just around the...More

After reading about old restaurants in Paris worth visiting we decided on this place. The waiting time was about two hours, the place was packed! I figured that meant the food would be great. Turns out the food was average for me. I was more...More

When in Paris, eat escargot. That is exactly what I did on this trip. Although this seems like a restaurant more for Americans (they even have an English menu if you need one), it is still a fun restaurant to experience while in town. They...More
