After reading online that this bakery is known for the best bread of Paris, I simply had to pass by to try their bread. Approaching the bakery, I spotted where it was from the queue outside (which went very fast). Hearing French in the queue...is usually a good thing! This increased the expectations even more, but oh boy, the bread lived up to it all. Opting for a pain au chocolate and pastry with raisins, I had a taste of the flimsy thin and tasty dough. Later during the trip I simply had to go back to try one of their croissants and the small savoury breads that they offer. Delicious! Friendly, French ladies working at the bakery. Prices are a bit higher than your average bakery.More

They advertise as "traditional methods of baking". It's quite a bakery. And you wonder, why no locald go in? Ah! Huh ! Haa! This bakery is here to fleece tourists. Do not go in. Items are not that tasty. Prices too stratospheric.

I love everything about this place! The fresh bread, the petit pains with unique fillings, the pain des amis (their specialty), the traditional methods of baking. It's quite awesome, and you will indeed need to wait outside sometimes to get in. I tried their gallete...de roi in January too, my favorite all month!More

The place is small so you got to queue outside but it’s a bundle of joy as you enter and see an array of freshly baked goods. Worth a try if you’re in Paris 🇫🇷

Mrs dragged me here from across town due to the other reviews she had read about this place and their pistachio + chocolate escargot. As many has pointed out, it is at least double the price of elsewhere and the taste did not justify the...price. It was average and definitely had better elsewhere. Will not return.More

Interestingly, I researched this place because of a photo that I saw on a Parisian-themed calendar from Papyrus. It took us 3 hours to drive here from where we were staying in Paris but we had time before our departure flight back to the states....I loaded my suitcase with pastries and baguette to give to my neighbors upon my return. My favorite was the pain au chocolat but seriously folks, close your eyes and pick and you won't be disappointed. There was a long line mid-morning but it moves fast and the workers are all business so know what you want and have the money ready!More

WOW! Definitely the best pastry we had in Paris when we were there. A very kind person recommended the pastry at this bakery and we sought it out during our day of pastry in Paris. Love the Canal area where this bakery is located. I...would highly recommend the snail (escargot) raisin pastry (just shaped like a snail not containing snails :). We also enjoyed the Pistachio and chocolate snail pastry as well. To guild the lily we ordered butter Croissants as well. NOTE: they are not open on the weekends so if you want to go you must go during the week and wait in line to get your order. Amazing!More

This was our first time here. The only pastry we came for is the Escargot Pistache-Chocolat. She was very nice and we were in and out very quickly. It's absolutely delicious and worth every euro. It's a quant little shop and I would recommend coming...here.More

Great pâtisserie/boulangerie but nothing special besides their big beard and the prices that are 3 times more than other really good similar places The service is horrible by the way
