Nice place, very relaxing local cafe / restaurant. Go there for the local ambience, food is rather basic, so not recommended.

I went to a meal at les parigots out of convenience, but the meal I had there was one of the best that I have ever had in my life. It was a vibrant restaurant/bar, with a good selection of reasonably priced food and drink. The service was impeccable, and the food was to die for. I cannot recommend the... More

I've lived in Paris now 27 years...I've been to thousands of restaurants in my city. This one stands out as one of the best Bistros I've been to! And it is a 5 minute walk from my new apartment (I should have 'discovered' it sooner, as I've been here 18 months. We ordered too much. First courses, and mains. We... More

We came here for dinner a couple of times more out of convenience (our hotel was down the same street) rather then anything outstanding. It's your typical French cafe offering, but it was mostly satisfying. I recalled we had a head cheese pate plate with some really good crusty bread, the arugula salad and beef bourguignon, including wine on the... More

This is a very typical French restaurant do not expect any western influences. The food is fresh and delicious. Unless you speak or read French it is very hard to choose or order a meal but fortunately for us we got a very nice French English speaking waitress who was more than helpful. Good average prices for Paris and is... More

Meal was very good. I had beignets of andouillette and a fillet of a fish similar to snapper; my husband had a roasted tomato tart with arugula and tuna tartare with frites. I drank a glass of white wine from Quincy and Marc had a Sancerre, both good pairings. Service was friendly and prompt, if a bit rushed. For some... More

After an interesting introduction to Paris (surrounded by riot police as we exited Republique) we dumped our bags and walk around looking for dinner. Stumbled on this classic bistro and it didn't disappoint though eating early (normal time for kids) meant we were the only ones eating.

We decided with a couple of friends to go to this restaurant because we heard some good echoes. What a deception... Such a bad welcoming... We wanted a quite table at the back, the only answer we got is "No." ... Although there were no reservations for this table... We wanted to change a drink but the waitress said no... More

We landed in this restaurant by accident and it is one of the best experiences of the last months. Very nice service, very simple but original cooking

You'll be the only American in this authentic Paris bistro but don't worry the menu is printed in English on the back. Great food and drink at a good price. Arthur, the maitre'd speaks flawless English and is a genial and accommodating host. Worth a subway ride from the left bank.
