Relaxing place to rest and eat well at the end of a long day sightseeing. We were seated at a table inside, open to the patio. Pizza is delicious and only 10 euros for a basic cheese. Glad we found this place!

We stumbled upon this restaurant one night and were happy we did. We'd been in Paris for over three weeks and were ready for something that wasn't French for dinner. The staff here was very welcoming. The food was good and there was enough veal, pasta and green beans in my dish to feed a small village. They offered me... More

Ordered calzone and it came out with the cheese cold and unmelted and the pizza base half raw. I should have sent it back but it was after 2pm and I was starving. The other 2 pizzas we ordered were also half raw and lacked any flavor at all. They must be using the cheapest ingredients they can find and... More

I've been to many restaurants in paris and the marais and this place is terrible. It was relatively crowded and inexpensive so a friend and i decided to head in. The one waitress who was there was seriously overworked and therefore crabby, the service was terrible. Everyone was waiting for their food. Which, it so happens, was terrible. I'd rather... More

While in Paris for a week, we ate at this restaurant twice. Despite the other reviews on here, we had three different pizzas that were stone fired and delicious! The wait staff was nice and helpful, and the prices were very reasonable. And to top it all off, my son forgot his wallet at the table and the manager and... More

We should have realised that with a menu that had pictures of the food, it was the wrong place to eat. Service slow and not friendly, even with the place only being a third full. Don't blame this on the stereotype view of Parisian service, we had great service everywhere in Paris except here. We saw one table served their... More

Restaurants atmosphere was from last decade (in bad way). Waiters were pored but things get still sorted (restaurant almost empty). We ate cheese and tapas platters. Visually plates were awful and cheese and meats (salami etc.) was very basic. Price range was reasonable but because atmosphere, service and food quality I would recommend to choose other restaurant.

Cheap ingredients overcooked and over priced with disspasionate staff. 6 euros for a side of frites so crispy I used one as a toothpick. Tomato and mozzerella salad served with just 3 quarters of a tomato.... one of the main ingredients! Squid served in thick heavy batter; the poor squid lost its life only to be plated as fried stodge.... More

It was Sunday evening and the restaurant was only about half full, but the interior was nicely decorated and the menu looked good for the price. So we went in. Service was prompt and efficient, and the bread was deliciously fresh. My escalope was very good, but unfortunately my wife's lasagna was quite stodgy. And although I could not fault... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
