Bad service, totally stupid and not polite Indian man works at the restaurant of Japan, one of the kitchen staff are also Hindu!! I order sashimi tuna for 19€! they sliced it in too large pieces that it wasn't possible to take them by sticks!!! They constantly fell out!!! Besides, they put on 1 piece of tuna less than said... Nice and small Japanese restaurant located close to Opera, a bit difficult to locate. Food is excellent and fresh, prepared in front of guests by genuine Japanese sushi chef. Also offering tempuras , soups, etc. Not expensive - good value for money. We had 3 different sushi platters, one sashimi platter , 2 tempuras and drinks for less then eur... More

This Sushi restaurant is small and nice with the Sushi preparation put in the middle of the room where you can observe the cook at work. the quality of the food is very good and all is fresh. when little crowded the service might be slow as there is only one person taking care of all tables. prices are reasonable

In Paris it is hard to choose, especially in the area around the Opéra, so packed it is with Asian restaurants. I was lucky to find this lovely little Japanese. Good food, good quality, friendly service, reasonable prices. Nice environment also for a person dining alone, like me. And the green tea was amazing!

Welcome to Japan. A restaurant that is up and running since 1987 can only be here today by offering quality. Best yakitori in town, amazing sashimi, authenticity guaranteed with regular Japanese customers and all staff originating from there just gives you a clear message: You want real Japanese food? Look no further. Peace out from Geneva.

I went to this restaurant for the first time today and found it a simple, cozy restaurant with very good food. Salmon in teriaky sauce was extremely good as well as the makis. Definitely recommend it.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
