Taste was acceptable, but not very fantastic. The pizza stall next door was better in comparison. Owners were kind and friendly, and was able to converse in simple English.

This small restaurant was a nice discovery. We tried the pizzas and they were very good, they offer the best pizzas we have tried in the neighborhood. The menu is a little small but interesting enough so we'll be going to visit again.

Amazingly authentic Italian pizza in Paris, which can be tough to come across. Service was great, food great.

There were 13 of us, and there was no problem seating us even though it was busy. The lady running the show was super nice and friendly and looked after us very well. The bruschetta was superb, and the pizza's were some of the best I've had. A great find in a not so classy area of Paris.

Just 10 minutes walk away from where I live, I'm very lucky to have this pizzeria to visit anytime! Excellent pizzas, (I'd tried 3 different types and all are delicious!) What I like about their pizzas is the crust! Thickness is just nice. Stone-baked. Unlike the one I tried just a few weeks ago on a one day trip to... More

Honestly, I was dragged here by a friend who works next door. It looked liked the usual place with "specialités franco-italiennes" (if you see that, run, it means the food is nothing like what you get in Italy.) Anyway, she insisted, so I just agreed and just hoped that my initial impression would be wrong. We ordered pizza. They were... More

Staying in La Villette

Neighbourhood Profile
La Villette
This futuristic landscape has come to define the northeast of Paris. The Saint-Denis canal is framed with luscious lawns and metallic buildings over a wide-open space. Home to Europe's largest science museum, this area rewards daytime and nighttime explorations; there are three concert spaces, plus cinemas and bars, and even open-air cinema in the summer. The surrounding homes are a sharp contrast to the futuristic space. Though on the outskirts of Paris, La Villette is worth the short Metro ride from the centre.
