Wonderful spot to grab a pastry or baguette. Lovely delicious and cheap. This is like so many places in Paris, tasty and amazing. You won't be sad stopping by here.

I had a great baguette at Gosselin the last time I was in Paris. The pastries were also quite delicious.

We were fortunate to have Gosselin just around the corner from the apartment we rented in Paris. This lovely little bakery was our morning stop for breakfast croissants and baguette for later in the day.

We had cased this outlet out before arriving and enjoyed the visit. Grabbed some sweet afternoon tea and walked to the nearest park to enjoy. Loads on offer, with all designs and tastes catered for. Mid priced, so worth a few visits. Thanks

Gosselin is justifiably known for its baguette. Yummy. Their pastries are equally good. What we loved though is that they offer prepared sandwiches, salads, quiches and other snacks for take-out. They even do a set lunch menu that has a salad or sandwich of the day, drink and pastry. We found it a perfect place to grab tasty, healthy food... More

Staying very neat and noticed the line out the door. Worth the wait for amazing baguette and croissants. Will be going back many more times on the trip.

I discovered this takeout gem when I rented a nearby apartment for a week and now try to return during my frequent stays in Paris. Here, a friendly, helpful staff combines with outstanding products to make every visit pleasant and worthwhile. I especially like the traditional baguettes, which are made with wheat flour. But the standard baguettes are topnotch too.... More

A great selection of cakes and pastries, very reasonably priced - nothing more than 3 euros or so - all delicious! Nowhere to sit and eat - it's purely a takeaway.

This bakery was right down the street from our hotel and made finding a good breakfast very easy. The croissants are delicious but we stopped twice to purchase a baguette and were so glad that we did. His baguettes are amazing - just the right amount of crustiness on the outside and a soft tender interior. The whole grain baguette... More

Delicious freshly-made sandwiches, salads, and tarts. Great place to get something quick and take back to your hotel room or have a picnic. Good selection. No hassle. Reasonably priced. A real go-to place in a pinch, however, some things can sell out by 6 pm or so.

Staying in Les Halles

Neighbourhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
