Les Cascades is a terrific example of Parisian brasserie dining. My husband and I have enjoyed everything from morning croissants and tartines to steak and frites for dinner, all served with friendliness and professionalism. Highly recommended ,

We ate here once as it was close to our hotel.Nice decor and very Parisian atmosphere. We started off with a nice cheese plate containing 5 different varieties and plenty of French bread. Then a nice chicken dish in which the helpings were very sizable, filling and delicious. We had eaten at a comparable restaurant down the street previously and found the helping... More

We enjoyed a lovely 15 euro plat de jour after a long day of sightseeing - great place to either sit inside and dine or grab a seat outside and watch the world go by.

The waiter was happy to explain items my basic French didn't cover. His English was MUCH better than my French. The chicken and fries I had was wonderful. My husband had chick kebabs/rice and he enjoyed them also. I liked the fact that the restaurant had a non-smoking section for dining.

Awful. That's all that springs to mind. Service was alright enough, my friends seemed to enjoy their meal and the place seemed quite nice but my food was absolutely awful. The duck leg (allegedly) was very obviously not fresh, dry, overcooked and completely lacking any flavour except for the taste of burnt skin. Served up with some flacid salad leaves... More

As a family we enjoyed every meal in this restaurant. The service is excellent and the food above and beyond. The portions are large..I loved their special of the day Bouef Bourgignon..which is seasonal. They have wonderful salads for a lighter fair. You will want to try their crepes.

We had the duck, which had been deep fried, a leg portion each. It was delicious but a tad pricey. The staff were helpful and spoke English.

A fairly poor experience on the whole. I'm not sure whether the waiter was rude or just French. It would be an overstatement to say my French vocabulary is poor however I was polite as possible, smiling to break the ice but not even an ice pick would shatter the cold reception the waiter returned. The carbonara was a 6/10... More

We four were very happy with the lunch we had here. Having had a real 'lets rip off the tourists' lunch in the centre of town the previous day, it was lovely to have decent food at a realistic price. My husband and daughter were really impressed by the salmon and spinach quiche, which came in a huge portion. My... More
