Talented bartender, beautiful food. Sat at the bar, was well attended to. Black cod with peas and mint was subtle and perfect. Highly recommend.

A small bistro, not pretentious but - looking at the clientele- trendy. Small menu. Great cocktails, just a little different. The food is very good, fusion: france meets asia. Do not believe the sourpusses that tell you it's not enough. The food is great, the...More

Recommended by our concierge, we had dinner here. We arrived early for our reservation but they were able to seat us right away. We were looking for a traditional "steak frites" meal for our last night in Paris and they did not disappoint. We ordered...More

Recommended by our hotel when we asked for non-touristy and good cocktails! The food was as excellent as the cocktails, and they were wonderful! The crispy prawn salad starter was a perfect bite and the beef was tender and delicious. Only disappointment was they were...More

Recommended by friends and family we three looked forward to a lovely dining experience. Put off by a 'must have' set menu we all ordered fillet of beef for mains. After one had sliced scallops served on a small bread & butter plate looking like...More

In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic
and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is
dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops,
ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants.
Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine
art school and small museums hide in unassuming
squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the

Is it possible to make a reservation online? My French is very bad so would prefer it to using the phone! Thank you.

27, rue du Dragon: a cult address in the Saint Germain des Prés quarter. One that has played host to many of the world’s ‘beautiful people’ since it first opened in the 1950s: actors, singers, politicians and even some of the international élite. “Le Tout Paris” has graced the upholstered wall seats of the “Claude Sainlouis”.

When, in 2011, the opportunity arose to stage a much admired come-back for this one-time king of bistros on the capital’s left bank, Cyril Lignac needed no second asking. Keenly aware of the venue’s history and spirit, the master chef restored the prestige and status of this Latin Quarter institution while carefully preserving the warm atmosphere and authenticity.

Renamed “Aux Prés”, this cult Bistro serves typically Bistro-style cuisine with flavours from around the world. Uplifting cuisine inspired by the Chef’s travels and encounters. With, more than ever, pride of place given to French and foreign home produce.
