Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

The food was creative, full of flavor and "cooked from the heart". French dishes with a Japanese "twist"/influence. The prices were extremely reasonable for the quality of the food and the ingredients used. The hostess Almira and chef Geoffrey Boyer made were extremely hospitable and made you feel at home. This is a very small restaurant so you need to make a reservation. When in Paris, we will certainly be back!!!!

A small, cozy restaurant with a hospitable and sincere atmosphere!
You will be greeted as a kind guest and offered delicious wine while you choose what to eat for dinner.
Everything we tried was very tasty! Prices are average. Nothing to complain about.
We recommend the restaurant!

Fantastic food served by the friendliest and most competent server in Paris. What a lovely dinner and experience we had. The chef is brilliant! It was so hard to choose what entrees to order because everything sounded delicious. Our server took the time to explain the preparation of every dish including the ingredients, seasoning and preparation. Such a delightful little place. I can't wait to eat there again!

Beyond amazing, I do not have the superlatives to describe this special place! The food, the service, the atmosphere, everything is just perfect and we have already reserved our return. My wife, sister-in-law and I split the Foie Gras starter, then I had the duck baked with Sake and mushrooms, my wife had the burger, and my sister-in-law the pork cutlet. We are still trying to figure out which one we liked the best, they were all so good!! For dessert, the brioche perdue is not to be missed! Book now, you will be so happy you did.

Two friends together, young energetic guy serving the around 20 seated restaurant. His waitress was sick so he was cooking and serving. He did this with a huge smile, happy and with efficiency. Our food was excellent, perfectly cooked too, medium tender steak steaks with chips. He doesn’t normally do chips only toasted or rice. He did them especially for me, hot fluffy and crispy. The other dish was huge veal steak, with sauce. Perfectly cooked soft and tasty. An absolutely devine bioche perdu pudding. Light eggs, creamy, very light and hot delicious sauce. He is excellent chef. You must give it a try.

We met a friend for dinner at Cellar - her recommendation. It’s a great local restaurant-small and cozy. The staff is excellent and the food extraordinary. I had the duck but it was prepared with mushrooms which I don’t enjoy. So he created a matcha/miso sauce that was just incredible.
A must try - away from the tourist crowd.

What a very nice intimate restaurant. Very friendly and communicative hostess who really makes you feel at home. Nice combination of French dishes with a Japanese twist. Child friendly (no children's dishes) We would love to come back!

Fantastic place, the food is the best I’ve had in Paris! The atmosphere is very intimate and cozy, the staff is friendly and their customer service is out of this world! I specially love the Brioche, but the whole menu is fantastic. I’ve been here many times and will keep coming back whenever in France. It has a great reputation for a good reason! Nothing but compliments to this amazing restaurant!

My friends and I decided to stop in here to get dinner and it was incredible. The presentation of all of the food was beautiful and it tasted amazing. We all had a great time and couldn’t stop talking about how much we loved this place! The only down side was that it was so so hot inside the restaurant but that’s paris in the summer I guess lol!

This place seats 16 (incl outside seating). Reservations are essential. We lucked out - walked in on a Sunday nite and got seated but it’s a little out of the way so wouldn’t recommend that for a plan.
It’s a small crew and the owner”s wife is a chess Grand Master and the French national champion (fun fact).
The entree - shrimp “satay” sautés shrimp in peanut sauce with pickled cabbage salad was outstanding. But the “plats” put it to shame: the burger with Japanese yakitori sauce pickled ginger and cheese was both enormous and excellent. The roast Guinea hen (swathed in bacon) with a peppered teriyaki sauce ) was sublime. And the grilled eggplant side was simply the best eggplant I’ve ever eaten.
Service was so accommodating and sincere. Wine pairings wer e helpful (and wine reasonably priced).

Incroyable! This is one of the best dining experiences I have ever had! The restaurant is absolutely charming, the owners are lovely and make everyone feel so welcome and at home, and the food is SPECTACULAR. I could not believe how many beautiful dishes kept coming out and I didn’t think it would be possible to finish any of them but it was impossible not to. Everything was incredibly fresh, multilayered and yet simple in that the main ingredients were the star. Everything was perfectly cooked. I cannot believe this place exists!
